Good value
Works well, and half the price of the OEM battery from APC. I've bought a few of these, and they typically last 3-5 years each, which is the same lifetime promised for the OEM APC replacement batteries.

Easy replacement - good mechanical fit.
I installed these in a SMC1000 and they slide right in. These are very easy to connect up and then tuck away. No issues closing the front cover. I give them 4 starts for now as I haven't used them for very long but will update the post if I find any issues. These APCRBC142-UPC batteries are replacing some UBC 1280 batteries I had in the UPS - I was very happy with how long the UBC batteries lasted - those I would give UBC 5 stars.

Right pack for the SMC1000 UPS
This is the correct pack for a APC SMC1000 UPS. It fits and connects correctly.

Incorrect country of origin
The product worked as a replacement in my SMC-10000. I can’t speak to the long term performance yet. The product description on Amazon says assembled in the USA and country of origin USA, but the actual battery says made in Vietnam.
