What is this knife's angle of sharpness?

It's only an estimate, but I think about 17 Â°. I harpen mine with a diamond file. It holds an edge and does well with slicing things like tomatoes. I recommend this knife.

Hello, You may select a shallower angle such as 25º or 20º, but doing so is not advisable if you plan on doing a lot of chopping. A 30º angle will ensure that your blade will stay sharp for a longer period of time, especially when chopping.

On my knife, the blade is exactly 8.0 inches long (or 20.3 cm). The widest part of the blade is just over 3 and a quarter inches (at 3 and 5/16 inches or 8.4 cm). The thickness of the metal at the back (or spine) is 3/32 of an inch (or 2 mm).
