I bought this to find sections of my house where insulation may be lacking. I'm astounded to learn that the device barely makes out a wall. The resolution is amazingly low, to the point of being unusable. Save your money, or spend a bit more money on something that actually works.

The tempature reading is not as accurate as I hoped it would be but it is still reasonably close. I use it for industrial photos of heat coils and it works fine.

Works pretty good, not hard to operate, picture is not as clear as I thought it would be but maybe its just me or my phone. Only one major problem I have with it that really sucks is on both of my phones I have to take them out of the phone case to plug it into the phone, a little extender for the plug would be an awesome option for it, I would use it much more then. All around good value and temp seems accurate, good quality.

In its cathegory this is the best Thermal camera I found in the market. Compact size to carry on to support troubleshooting related issues without comprising image quality. Compatible with Android devices (USb type C) using available App in PlayStore (free and great User inteface).

Very excited to pay just over $100 with a coupon. 4800 pixels, 15hz refresh? Could be a bargain. I downloaded the app and got it running, plugged in the camera, and nothing. Not detected. So I recycled the phone and again nothing. So I used a USB-C cable and again nothing. To see if my USB-C would detect other things, I connected a web cam and then a USB-C memory drive. Both worked. So I don't think it is a USB-C detect issue. I've spent a lot of time on the web searching for people with similar issues. Not much there. Lacking another explanation (a USB-C issue?), I am guessing I got a dud. This must be returned. Sad face.

Works pretty good for the cost I feel. Took a minute to get the hang of it's features but I like it. Not very sturdy though. Would recommend.

Everything below body temperature just appears black with no differentiation. This can detect hot spots only. Cold spots look no different than everything else around them unless everything around them is 90° or more. Want to find cold spots where more insulation is needed? Get a different camera. Also, the user interface is extremely lacking. There are buttons that seem to do nothing and settings that don't really make sense. And instead of coming with any type of instructions or even a link to the correct app to use, they just include advertisements to try to get you to buy more of their products and leave you to figure this one out completely on your own. Not worth it at half the price. Camera is junk, little more than a novelty.

Not very good, all the photos i attached were taken from less than a 1m away. I wish i put extra £100 and got something better. For me waste of money.
