Revolutionized my PowerPoint preaching!
I'm a Baptist minister who has been using PowerPoint for the last 3 years. Until I started using PowerPreacher, I had been rather content simply displaying scriptures, lessons, and a few pictures on the screen. Amazingly, it never occurred to me to display the illustrations that I frequently use in my sermons. I also didn't realize the sophisticated slides that can be created in PowerPoint.During a joint service, a colleague of mine preached a PowerPoint sermon where he used visual illustrations. He also ended his sermon with a "video poem." I was so impressed (and I wasn't the only one) with his presentation that I approached him afterwards and inquired about the visual illustrations (since they looked so polished) and the video poem he used. He ultimately confessed that he was using "PowerPreacher." That same day, I went to their website and ordered a copy for myself. The results of using PowerPreacher in my church have been nothing short of impressive. Suffice to say that we have witnessed an increase in attendance since we started using PowerPreacher. The PowerPreacher sermons are not only a visual feast, but they are also interesting, engaging, informative, inspiring, and well-conceived. As a matter of fact, while there is plenty of "eye candy" sprinkled throughout the sermons, they were not designed at the expense of the message. Instead, they were designed to provide a satisfying and professional visual experience for the viewers. In addition, the sermon topics covered in PowerPreacher range from profound theological matters to what I call "practical Christianity" (or how to live your life as a Christian) with inspiring testimonies and examples. The collection contains 27 PowerPoint sermons (26 plus the bonus sermon). The free sample sermon on their download page is also found on the DVD for a total of 28 sermons. What's more, several of the sermons could easily be converted into a two-part series. Assuming you only preach once a week (not in my case), there's enough material in the collection for over 6 months.Eight of the sermons also contain "video poems" (or poems displayed in a video format) that tie directly to the message being discussed. While these videos may lack the sophistication of a Hollywood production, they are, nonetheless, effective in bringing the message to a climactic conclusion. In fact, two of the video poems brought tears to my members and one of them also brought people to the altar. I have even had requests to include more video poems into my sermons. I can't wait to show them the Christmas video poem! Our youth minister has also been using PowerPreacher with our youth (50 teens). He too has reported great success and great interest among the teens. More importantly, a number of new teens have given their lives to Jesus Christ. One of the strong points of PowerPreacher is how any pastor, Sunday school teacher, or youth minister can formulate an entirely new sermon, message, or lesson using the visual illustrations that are found in the volume. Conceivably (not that you would want to), one could discard all the PowerPoint sermons and simply create new PowerPoint presentations using their visual illustrations. In other words, all the visual illustrations found in the sermons have been separated into distinct PowerPoint files. Using their 3D Illustrations book, one can quickly find the right illustration, open up the corresponding PowerPoint file (all linked from their 3D book), and simply copy it into a new presentation. More importantly, I have also started to create my own visual illustrations using the effective technique that I learned from using PowerPreacher. The only recommendation that I have is that they should add sermon lesson handouts to their collection. A lot of pastors (including myself) like to give these sermon lesson handouts to our congregations so that they could take notes and have something they can take with them. Perhaps they can add this feature to their next volume. I still, though, have to give it a perfect 5 out of 5 due to all that it already contains and how much of a quantifiable impact it has already had on our congregation. In the past, I have purchased other commercial collections of PowerPoint sermons that are found on the Internet. By far, PowerPreacher has been the most rewarding, most enjoyable, and most visually stimulating collection to date. In fact, with all that it contains and how well it's all organized, PowerPreacher is easily worth more than the money we paid. For all these reasons, I highly recommend this collection to all PowerPoint preachers (Baptists and non-Baptists alike). This collection is a must-have!

Radically Effective!
I have to confess that I was originally hesitant about these PowerPoint sermons mainly because they are so radically different to the style of PowerPoint sermons that I have preached in the past or have seen on the Internet. After I preached my second sermon from Volume I, I then knew that PowerPreacher was going to be a drastically effective tool for preaching, teaching, and evangelizing. While it has been different to my style of PowerPoint preaching, I was quickly able to adapt to the new style since everything is on the screen. Not only can my congregation of 650 members follow these PowerPoint sermons better, but their response has also been extremely complimentary and approving (young and old alike).Selecting a sermon is easy with their Sermons Book since all the sermons are laid out in the digital book. Once you have found a sermon of interest, you can quickly click on the links to open the corresponding PowerPoint file or Word document file. This convenient setup is such a time saver! The video poems are undeniably effective in driving the message home. I also like it that these video files don't take up too much space and are easily linked with a click of a button from the PowerPoint sermons.Speaking about saving space, I initially balked at the amount of space Volume I took on my hard drive. 1.28 GB seemed excessive! After examining the files, however, I quickly realized that I could delete all the ppt files since I use PowerPoint 2007 and the corresponding pptx files are included. Additionally, because I liked the sermons as they were originally designed, I also deleted all the PowerPoint illustrations and charts since they are already contained within the sermons. Altogether, I was able to free over 800 MB of hard drive space. As it stands, PowerPreacher now only takes up about 465 MB of space on my hard drive (and that includes all the video poems). If you are not using PowerPoint 2007, you can delete all the pptx files to save hard drive space as well.To summarize, I have been pleasantly surprised and very impressed with PowerPreacher. The message on the sermons are not only relevant and biblical, but they are equally attention-grabbing due to their striking visual design. My only regret is that I hesitated for so long and didn't purchase this wonderful product sooner!

Absolutely fantastic!
I'm rather new at preaching with PowerPoint. During the last 10 months that I've used PowerPoint, I have downloaded a number of PowerPoint sermons that are scattered throughout the net. While I have gained insight and practical examples, many of them lacked grace and professionalism. I have always maintained that our congregations deserve the best and we shouldn't settle with mediocre material. It is here where Power Preacher stands out and differentiates itself from the rest.Power Preacher not only uses dazzling Christian artwork and professional photographs, but the sermons also contain sophisticated bullets, graphs, and diagrams. Of course, fancy slides don't mean a thing if the sermons are not spirit-filled, interesting, based upon the Word of God, and worthy of note. Thankfully, the sermons in Power Preacher are lovely on the outside and biblically based on the inside. This winning combination has proved a hit at my church. From start to finish, I can tell that my church is focused on the sermons and that a high level of interest is effortlessly maintained. Case in point, teens tend to be the toughest audience since they become easily distracted and bored. With Power Preacher sermons, I've had a number of them give accolades to the message. The adults too have made it abundantly clear they are being blessed and nourished. What more could a pastor ask for?Without reservations, I heartily recommend these remarkable sermons to all preachers using PowerPoint. Our church has been absolutely blessed, and I have no doubt that yours can be too!
