You cannot adjust the length on this rope.

Q: Has anyone been able to switch out the original rope for a heavier one?

You cannot switch out the rope, however, we do sell heavier jump ropes. Feel free to take a look at those.

Q: I’m 185lbs and 5’10. What size do I need?

it only comes in one size: 9 ft. that is perfect. I am 6' and 180 and it works for me. Everlast is a very good brand. Quite worrying and buy it. Let is note that expensive.
