I very rarely write reviews but since I rely heavily on them myself, I thought I would write a review for this product because it is a true wonder lotion. I look after a 35 year old flea-bitten grey Arab gelding. His cannon crud (keratosis) is horrendous. I have tried Betadine shampoo, anti-fungal lotion, Eqyss Micro-Tek gel etc. EQUIDERMA WORKS! After the first use, great clumps of black lifted from his legs, by the fourth day, a gentle rubber curry and the crud disappeared completely. There was no irritation, bleeding or hair loss. This product is a miracle and I will keep using it and telling anyone who will listen about it.

This is great for rain rot but my new mare had rubbed her mane off due to allergies/parasites. Wahed her neck and combed base of mane to remove years of dirt, etc. Then applied Equiderma and massaged it into remaining mane. It is very greasy and will run down neck so don't need to use alot. Now her mane lays on her neck nicely and is 2-3 inches long. Retreat weekly to keep mane healthy and prevent itching. Thank you seller.

I just got this product today and used it on my mares mane, tail and hooves. Equiderma really smells nice and is easy to apply. Looking forward to seeing how well it works. My mare has sensitive skin and didn’t mind me putting this lotion on her at all.

This is a MUST HAVE in your grooming kit especially if your horse has any type of skin allergy or gets scratches. It works wonders on the base of my horses itchy mane and tail. Mild enough to use on his face too. I use it maybe twice a week on those areas and it's like magic! No peeling, flaking, or itchy areas. He was BALD from scratching his crest from his midge allergies (Sweet itch). It is a bit greasy so if you have a light colored horse so be prepared that dirt and dust will stick and show but the fact that it really works outweighs the drawback. I'm never without less than a half a bottle, wonderful product that works and smells nice too. Check out my before and after photos.Took about 2 full months to regrow all the hair and with weekly application since, there has not been another outbreak if the dreaded itch!

Just started treatment with the lotion two days ago, but have already seen improvement in the condition of my horses skin. He had a pretty good case of scratches on his hind legs. Now with daily attention and care, the scabs are already loosening and beginning to slough off. The lotion is easy to work into the hair and skin, and is pleasant to work with. So far I am well impressed with this product. UPDATE: The left hind pastern is completely clear now, and just a little bit of work left to do on the right hind. The lotion is working well. Pleased with results.

This product is amazing! My mare was in a bad boarding situation this winter, malnourished & covered in rain rot from the backs of her ears down to the dock of her tail, down each leg with the beginings of secondary infection before I could pull her out of there. I tried this product based on customer reviews & a hope for fast recovery. It was worth every penny. I don't have an indoor bathing stall so couldn't bath her in the neem shampoo along with the lotion. An Equiderma rep. advised me of what to do though. I rubbed the lotion in every spot & a little beyond the affected areas (basically her whole body) & saw remarkable improvement by 2nd day. Three days of treatment & by day 4 all rot was gone! I am so happy my girl is no longer suffering & healthy fur is growing back. This is a must have product in my barn from now on. Can't wait to try the neem shampoo & spray. Never ending bot fly eggs on her legs are next to go!

Equiderma works much better than an effective sulfur based product. I bought this product for rain rot on my mare and it cleared it up in a few days. What's amazing about this product is that it cleared up (with complete hair regrowth) a spot on my gelding that had no hair for the last 10 years due to an alergic reaction to daily dewormer back then. I decided to try some Equiderma on this quarter sized bare spot. No kidding, one week later the spot now has hair...same color as the rest of his coat. This is an amazing product and has a pleasant smell and is not oily. You won't be disappointed in the results

An amazing product, that clears up a range of skin problems in my horse, a pure bred friesian. Based on skin scrapings, the vet has confirmed chorioptic mange mites, to which he is extremely sensitive (other horses in same paddock have no issues). He also gets scratches in his dense feathers, and on his canon bone. This product deals with all his skin issues, and usually within a few days of daily application. I had tried many other products with no success.

Have tried so many different lotions and potions and creams over the years on our cob and this lotion completely cleared really thickened and crusty mallenders in days after years of trying so many things. Well worth the cost.

this is excellent for horses suffering from salandars mallanders really works well unlike a lot of products this does not leave a horrible greasy sticky mess that is nearly impossible to remove i have found it has excellent results on my pony most of her scabs have nearly all gone there is improvement by the day

So thankful to have this product shipped to Canada. Worked wonderfully for our mare’s cannon keratosis.

I have a pony with a skin condition that I thought was leg mites now I think it is Hyperkeratosis and have been using this to calm the skin and soften the exudate that collects prior to keeping it clean and itch free.
