Great product. Good value for money

I bought 2 with the intention of putting them next to each other to cover the side of the garage (to store logs). In fact as the brackets are all identical we made it a single 4-panel canopy instead of 2x2. (Got a spare bracket!). Due to the location it was impossible to assemble and then put up so we assembled in situ. This was fiddly but doable with 2 people.

This is a really nice item. It looks great when put together and is fixed to the wall, and it's strongly made, too. The rather flimsy polycarbonate sheets that make up the main part of the roof sections is very string when in place and does not rattle in the rain. But the instructions are truly awful! Think IKEA without the sense or communication. In a folded A4 booklet, they provide one page of very poor, largely unhelpful photos with ambiguous arrows and a completely blank page where you can, presumably, write your own notes. When you come to put it up, take your time and think it through before you start. It is straightforward, but only after you've done it once. It's easy to damage the poloycarbonate sheets as you push them into the strengthening strips, so do this bit with great care and a little washing-up liquip to help them slide together The second time is a lot easier! Overall it's great, but could do with some decent instructions.

I am so pleased that I purchased this canopy, it's brilliant. It's bigger than I expect, and once up ilfeels pretty sturdy, although putting it up was a tad awkward, but past that, once up, it looks really good.

A nice looking canopy - but a devil to assemble! It took me several hours, working solo. The larger screws which fasten the side brackets to the ends of the aluminium cross pieces do not have ready cut threads for them. They have to be screwed into channels in the aluminium, cutting their own threads. This proved to be quite difficult and I would advise other purchasers to do this job before removing them and moving on with the assembly. Trying to fit the support arms to the canopy proved to be another challenge. The plastic panels are flat and trying to fit them and the cross bars into the curved slots of the supports was extremely difficult. Finally, the small screws to give extra rigidity to the panels and supports do not have ready-drilled holes for them in the aluminium bars. If you do not have a selection of small drill bits to hand you will not be able to finish the assembly. Potential buyers will need a lot of patience!
