Bought this for our granddaughter. She's barely a few months old now but loves this.

Although the elephant isn't as cute as I'd hoped (there is an odd white 'collar' and small brown slits for eyes -I'd pick a different animal if I was ordering again) these work like a charm. Our daughter had been a great sleeper until about 6 months old when bedtimes suddenly became very difficult. We found that introducing a transitional object, in this case a lovie, was very helpful. It cues her to sleep and we keep one in the diaper bag, one in her crib and a back up one. Like the other reviewers said, keep them all in rotation. They have washed very well and come in a cute decorative box.

My daughter received a number of loveys and blankets, but I really liked this Angel Dear blankie for her! When she was around 8 months I started letting her keep it with her for naps and then eventually for bedtime. She rubs it over her face and falls asleep with it on her head, which would worry me if the blanket wasn't breathable! Now she is approaching a year old, and while we used to keep her lovey in her crib, she likes to carry it with her and doesn't like to leave it out of sight. This lovey is her constant companion -- really, I've seen her chatting with it! It is soft and snuggly, and we'll see how well it withstands toddler-hood. I definitely recommend these blankies, and they make perfect, adorable baby gifts!

My 1 year old loves her elephants.. It's so nice to have 3: 1 stays at daycare for nap time, 2 are at home for easy rotation. My older child would sometimes mess up her security blanket or we'd realize we forgot to put it in the dryer before bedtime and we'd be scrambling to get it to her so she would sleep. We were not going to make that mistake with my second!!! It's such a relief to have a spare (or two) handy, especially since she loves to hold it and crawl around or "sweep" as my husband calls it.. it gets pretty nasty. They clean wonderfully, they're still soft and adorable.. highly recommend this.

Gave this as a gift because my son still loves his angel blankie (at the age of 10!). When he was teeny tiny, would snuggle it under his arm every time he nursed. Thus, he associated it with comfort and safety and made it easier to transition away from me being his lovey as he got older! Just remember to get more than one to avert disaster when it is misplaced! Easy to care for: just throw in washer and dryer with sheets and comes out looking good as new (even 10 years later!).

Adorable soft "lovey" set so that you always have a back up. If you are like me, you want to avoid any meltdowns - so we got this for my second daughter just like we did for our first. Having "a pair and a spare" allowed us to change them out when they got dirty and quickly replace one that needed a wash during a bout of a stomach virus.
