Beautiful hand-crafted salad servers
These salad servers are lovely -- the spoon and fork both have a shallow bowl, perfect for scooping salad; and the handles are a good length, long enough not to slide into even a large salad bowl, but short enough to balance well in a medium bowl -- that is, the handles do not unbalance and fall out of the bowl as you carry it to the table. The black and white decorative carving is handsome. I plan to buy several more sets as Christmas presents.

Wood grain not bold like pictured
These arrived with the bone part broken off on one of them, I waited to long to return, I think I can glue it tho. The woodgrain is seriously lacking the ooomph and pazzazz that the picture had. Much more pale and subdued, also have a few dings and scuff marks. Also in case anyone is wondering, the ends are cream & dk. brown designs, their ad pic can kinda look like shiny silver ends if you aren't sure what you are looking at. Overall they are cool and I'm sure I will enjoy them.

Actually, these were even better than I suspected. My wife and I have been to South Africa numerous times and have many artifacts from the area. These will be a welcome reminder of our visit.
