Got this door alarm to alert me that door is open, originally for preventing dog from escaping. Alarm goes off after door open for a few seconds. It is not an obnoxious sound but is a persistent sound alert. Easy to install, sticks with included mastic tape. Can be made inactive easily using the switch.

This alarm has saved us electricity by alerting that refrigerator door is not closed. The left door of our Samsung French door refrigerator has an additional sealing mechanism attached to it which requires additional force if attempting to close it with swinging it closed instead of pushing it closed. I don't know if all French door units are like this, but ours is. The sound intensity is adjustable but I keep it at mildly annoying so it can be heard in the next room since it delays for a minute before alerting. Had to move refrigerator farther away from wall an inch or two to allow opening one cabinet door above.

Simple, easy to use and install and it works as advertised. My garage is separate to the house. I have video cameras and signage but I wanted an aural alarm to deter a bad guy (By the way, this unit does NOT connect to any wireless network. I knew that when I bought it and don't need that. Just wanted to let you know.). I chose the 5 second delay and the loudest alarm and it is very loud. I don't think a crook will hang around very long with that going off. Anyway, it works great and does everything I expected it to do. I would buy this again.

We had an issue with the air pressure of an extneral door keeping it open while gone. On a cold day, this was an issue. I believe that the interface for changing the ring/timers could be easier to see and use on the unit.

Super easy to install and it works. A little annoying, but if it helps my son close the front door all of the way that would be great. He's the teenager that slams doors, and now I need to replace the door handles. It doesn't pay to replace them if he doesn't close the door properly. If this works long term, I might buy one for the backdoor because he is the reason why 3 of my cats are missing. I haven't tried to adjust the volume, but might. The delay time is perfect too.

Update: it’s November 14 and the sensor has fallen off the door. I don’t know where it is because my husband probably put it somewhere. I have sent an email to the company to see if I could get a replacement for it and I will let you know what they say. I’m just wanting a sensor and the sticky part. My husband may have taken it off the door I don’t know. My husband has the beginnings of dementia so he never remembers to shut the door to the front of the house. The store alarm is excellent. It has worked every single time. There are so many settings that when he gets used to one sound, I can change it to another sound that gets his attention better. It works even if it’s not exactly lined up because of the door frame. It’s a great product and I’m definitely gonna buy another one for the back door.

The alarm goes off when the secondary part is too far from the main part. Can be installed in lots of different configurations. Instructions were understandable but not 100% intuitive, keep the manual. Thankfully, did not require an app. Adjustable volume and adjustable time before ringing were very nice features.

Left door of refrigerator doesn't fully close without an extra push. This alarm warns us at least once a week that the refrigerator door wasn't fully shut. Very happy with the purchase.

Great - working as advertised and easy to install on my refrigerator door.

Purchased for a fridge whereby people were leaving the door open, then it would ice up and muggins me would have to clean out excess water. Picked this one based on reviews. With some trial and error to position the unit and sensor, it now works very well. I used white tack to fix the 2 parts to the fridge. Surprising how even 1 or 2 mm difference in position could have it alarming, so white tack was a good solution. Spent maybe 20 mins to sort out the alarm I wanted and to position it on the fridge, it has been working well and alarms if the door is left open more that a few millimeters. The alarm volume is good.
