Is this base coat formaldehyde free?

According to Lilou Organics, butter LONDON does not add Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, DBP, Toluen, Camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide, Xylene, or TPHP to any of its nail product formulas

how do you remove this product and does it chip or peel off?

I haven’t had problems with chipping or peeling, and it’s come off easily with regular remover (even non-acetone works for me). I do think the condition of nails (mine’s not great) and weather matter though. In humid climates this is great for me. In dry places, not so much - but that’s true with everything at my age (56).

Is this base coat for gel or liquid polish?

I use it on my bare nails not on gel.

Are you supposed to apply a coat of clear nail polish before the color?

The Horse Power is clear. You can use it as a base coat or by itself. It strengthens your nails. I'm sure you could add color on after you apply it.
