Nice and quick little gadget, just don’t rely too heavily on it.
I think they should get rid of the object mode. Initially I thought the item was defective. I had changed from Celsius to Fahrenheit and then following the instructions 3 to 5 cm from the forehead I started taking temperatures and they were all extremely subnormal in the 80s. It wasn’t until I read all the way through the instructions that there was a mode button that either selected object or body. Once I had switch the mode to body then the temperature started 98.4 Fahrenheit which was more like the actual temperature it should be reading.

No Touch Thermometer
Love it! Simple to use and accurate. Only thing I don't really like is the lid for where the batteries go, it is a little hard to open.

Uncalibrated mess
This thermometer feels cheap, doesn't read the correct temperature ie: a family of 5 are not normally all 89F.I'm not really clear as to why a memory of 20 past temperatures is necessary to scroll through at one point, but thats a feature I guess.
