About the reviews complaining about the threads
Yes, some of the black plastic was melted in the thread portion but with a small needle could be easily removed. You don't have to be an Einstein to figure it out. I really like the design and was worth every bit of my 10 dollars.

No Quality Control
The threads on the nut that the threaded rod screws into was over molded so it took a long time to try to cut the plastic out of the threads. If there were any kind of inspections done on this it never should have left the supplier. I should have sent it back but since it was on the slow boat from China I fixed it myself.

Very Cheap
I expected some Metal Not plastic and had a great had a hard tine getting the connecting screews to fit in. they seem to be stripped out so will be sending back!

First, I love how it looks.Pros:1. Nicely built, solid, good color.2. Looks OEM.Cons:1. In my application, I had to add a metal plate for the backing to keep it from bowing.Final thoughts:Overall I would say it is a good product and I would certainly recommend it.
