Looking to add some old school cool to my home office
Package came and was much smaller than I had expected. The materials are thin and not exactly robust. That being said it is priced correctly for what it is in my opinion. Comes with the pieces to anchor to a table, but also has the ability to mount vertically. Comes with a bulb, which is always nice. Also it is sized correctly, when I was looking for a lamp like this I was finding many reviews of others having much shorter arm lengths than they appeared.

Good light, not great
Overall this is a good light. The base looks like it will mount vertically and horizontally. When mounted horizontally, the weight of the fixture causes it to rotate down to the work surface unless it is very tight. There is no way to lock the fixture into the base or limit its rotation. The light shade doesn't snap on properly and mine came off a couple of times already. The bulb kept it from falling to the work surface. It does have a good height and reach for getting light into different areas when working on complex items. It comes with a cool white LED bulb that lights up the work surface well. It uses standard household bulbs.

Cannot beat this "old style" light
Bought 2 other lights for working on architectural plans; returned them because the light was too weak. This "old school" style light is perfect. Able to flex and move to where we need and put in a proper bulb to view all details. Don't bother with the LED ring lights.

Broke so quick…
Broke after one month. I am one week past the 30 day return window. Even with the arms tight it keeps falling down. Disappointed…

Will not stay attached to desk and whole lamp arm is not attached to the base
Piece of junk. I read the bad reviews but thought no it'll be all right. It won't stay clamped to my desk the knob is so tiny that you struggle to tighten it. And then the whole piece that goes into that is loose it doesn't attach to anything so it wobbles it falls out all the time. The spring keeps popping off of it. I'm not happy with the purchase
