Conversion U-Joint for Humvee / HMMWV / M998
This u-joint is an excellent solution for mismatch between early and later HMMWV driveshaft to flange. The issue we had was later style driveshaft (which uses Spicer 5-213X) mismatched with the axle input flange (which uses Dana Spicer 1-0153 [per TM9-2320-280-24P]). This is the correct u-joint to use when having this mismatch. Additionally, this u-joint is used in many factory applications by Ford, so there is no concern about the joint failing.Bottom line, if using later driveshafts on an early HMMWV, this is the u-joint you need.
