I bought these just before an arctic blast moved in and donated them to a group that was giving them to people who were homeless.That said, I do plan on getting some of these for myself and trying them out.The shipping was lightening quick and everything arrived undamaged.

These will never replace my rain suits as primary rain protection, but should be adequate if I ever get caught in an unexpected shower. The fact that they can also be used as an emergency blanket was the main reason I chose these over something else.

Wish the tail (back side that sometimes has to cover a backpack) were longer; if you are wearing a backpack, the poncho will rise up allowing the back of the legs to get wet from rain - tough call because if there's no backpack then the tailside will drag on the ground. Picked these as the material is rougher than the simple mylar that tears apart easily - this one is a bit stronger. Picked these for the orange as a "find me" signal and the silver as 1 - heat reflection (although just being a plastic skin it probably would have retained heat too) and becasue 2 - I can reverse wear the poncho as a sun shield. This one is a three-fer', rain and wind protection, sun protection, and heat retention.

Great addition to outside gear. Useful for sporting events or emergencies.

This four pack of survival ponchos will be a great addition to my bug out bags and survival kits.

We have them in our cars just in case.

Haven't opened them and will not until needed. Seem like the ticket but when you need them it's too late to question.
