Keeps Food Hot
This container does keep food hot for a long period of time. I no longer have it but I remember sometimes struggling with the lid. Either way, it does what it’s advertised to do.

Good for lunches
This is good for my daughter’s school lunch. Easy to clean, Easy to use and isn’t super heavy. Seems to be leakproof and durable. 5YO has no trouble opening and closing so it’s a win for me.

Not great
I bought one of these plus another, similar variety from Aldi. I tested both with hot water to see which kept the water hotter after certain times. The Aldi one performed better so I returned this one. Nothing against it at all! I liked the pattern, and my son liked this one better for appearance, but it came down to function for me.

Great item for keeping hot food warm.
As a child I use to eat my mom's homemade macaroni and cheese or grandma's homemade raviolis at school in an insulated thermos. These have been around for a long time (I don't know the brand or what they were made of then) but I will say they have been around forever for good reason because they really keep food hot! One of my relatives once said he would bring a thermos full of soup to meetings in the city because he didn't like eating in the restaurants. So these are really helpful. My daughter is in pre-kindergarten for half day and I thought since she goes to school in the am, there would just be a snack period. Seeing as the kids do have lunch and my daughter is a picky eater and she's home before 1:00 I was giving her a yogurt or a little egg salad as she likes. However with the cold winter weather I knew she would appreciate some warm oatmeal. According to my daughter, it stays a perfect temperature and keeps it fresh tasting. Iv even used it to pack cut up quarters of grilled cheese and she said it stayed the right temperature. I worked in a school and a few students brought in ones that were almost impossible to open aandI felt embarrassed asking the custodians to open them. I'm glad this is easier to open but I think the key is not to close it when it's piping hot (the food won't likely be too hot by the but I think it creates a vaccine seal.) All and all a great product.
