Nilfisk Core 140 Bar High Pressure Washer with Power Control - Strong Power Washer for Patios and Car Cleaner (1800 W)

Works as it should, very powerful. The hose reel makes it easy to tidy away, it would have been good to have had a reel for the power cable too, or am I just being lazy?

The pressure washer was really easy to assemble and is very easy to work and operate. I used to have the C110 and this didn’t have any issues for the 9 years I had it, so I am confident that the core will have the same reliability synonymous with Nilfisk. The main reason for upgrading was for more power when cleaning brickwork and driveways (I’m currently building an extension so need to clean regularly). The new mode has great power and the variable power dial is really effective. I love the sleek design too and how easily everything works together. The only downside is the hose really. The 6m length isn’t quite long enough to easily get around the car and the hose is that plastic hose that tends to kink and is a little bit frustrating to use- however with most washers this is the standard hose which can easily be upgraded with third party parts afterwards if it is an issue to you. The additional power the core140 offers makes car cleaning a doddle and if you are a detailer using a foam Lance, the foam you get from this set up is second to none!

This is a compact machine. Not too difficult to assemble, but make sure you get the screw holes lined up properly for the handle etc. It is a lightweight machine, but the bonuses are the hose reel retracts and the power cable although stores externally has not got a hard mastic outer casing also folds up easily.Initial tests on decking and car: works very well on high and medium power modes. Another bonus is the 2 x lance interchangeable nozzles, better than having 2 lances as with my previous make.

Bought this to upgrade from an older Nilfisk pressure washer so I could clean my drive. Worked a treat with the attachments I already had and I managed to clean the whole drive without issue. I like the wind away hose, but I'd also like to be able to attach a longer one if I wanted, but the winding reel prevents that without taking it apart. Still a great unit though.

Having now owned this pressure cleaner for about six months I’m happy to do a review the machine has been faultless and cleans my garden, patio effortlessly, which was the main reason for buying so no complaints from me

We bought this to replace a (on paper) more powerful Vax pressure washer. Immediately we could see that the Nilfisk cleans patio slabs easier than the Vax did.You get three power levels and two attachments, a basic spray one and a rotating one which is better on dirt. Combing the power level and the nozel gives you good control for each usage.Our model has a winding hose which makes storage simple.I gave it four stars however as the power cord could be better stored and the rear hose connector on my model is very stiff, almost too much so that it is a struggle to connect/disconnect.

Delivered quickly and well packaged.Initial impression of this product is that it is well-engineered, of high quality materials (internal & external), and should be durable. Time will tell of course ...First intended use was for jet-washing a tarmac drive of approx 20m length that is susceptible to heavy moss, (and on which I have tried various remedies). The Nilfisk Core 140 bar - used with high power head - was very easy to use and very effective for this task. Pleased that this relatively eco friendly solution worked so well.Anticipated ongoing use - with soft power head - to clean bikes, cars , uPVC doors/windows & frames/conservatory.

2nd update. And now the replacement has just died!!! Again, just out of warranty!!! Will not buy Nilfisk again, quality is absolutely terrible now.Update.Just out of warranty and the bloody thing has died.******************After 12 yrs of reliable service my old Nilfisk gave up the ghost, so there was only one manufacturer I was going to replace it with! It was very easy to put together and feels very sturdy. Yes, it’s plastic, but it certainly isn’t flimsy! I particularly like that you can wind the hose up into a secure and semi sealed container. The pressure on this unit is higher than the one it replaced and you can certainly tell. It makes light works of patios and brickwork, and cleans the car with ease. All the old attachments I had for my old jet wash fit this model so I’ve got no further outlays. Brilliant bit of kit!!
