Follow the directions, water, and you will have grass. My dog tore up my backyard grass wise, and just looked terrible. Bought this bag, spread the seed around. Watered often, recommends twice a day. Got a fair amount of rain after I laid the seed, so that may have helped. About a week in you can see sprouts, around that two week mark it was growing well. Patchy, and seems slow. But it does grow. Can't control how it grows or patches. As for weeds, your outside, you may get weeds. It happens. I'm satisfied with the product. Will eventually buy another bag or two to cover a few other areas.

It works. My grass came up fast and filled in the bald patches that needed fixing!

I see tiny grass sprouts growing yea. It seems like a low number of stouts per seed but these were used in large bald spots in my yard. I am trying to reseed a yard that’s too many weeds, I have broken up the ground and added a light coating of enriched soil.

This worked really well for us. We had a few patchy areas in the yard and this filled in nicely without a lot of extra effort. Super easy to use—just spread, water, and let it do its thing. We started seeing growth pretty quickly, and it came in thicker than expected. Great option if you don’t want to overthink lawn repair or deal with multiple products. It’s kind of a one-and-done solution.

I had a bad spot of lawn near the patio which was always scarce because it’s in shade 9/10 of the day or so it seemed. I did some research and this product seemed to be my answer. I have to say I was skeptical because I’ve tried others as well as the Gardner and no improvement. It is now a month in from purchase and application and that patch is the nicest grass I have in the back now! If it were not so expensive I’d replace the rest of the yard but.

Bad Quality. Not durable. What came up is already wasting away. Ease of use was ok. Watering on schedule helped with germination. But this was a major fail in terms of covering spots in the lawn -- and I've had to plant an entire backyard and did so with great success -- except that wasn't with a Scotts product. Costly product that apparently works well for others. Not a big fan here.

Not rapid at all . I watered my area 2 times a day so it would not dry out but didn’t seem to help . Its no different then any other grass seed I have bought

Had grass growing within 2 weeks. My sons were helping me water and just as excited as I was to see little sprouts growing in. Just watered everyday it didn’t rain. I’m going to buy more to fill in spots.
