Good cables both of mine seem to have good connections and they are most definitely fully functional. They are still fairly flexable and are well built cables I have no real complaints esp cause they were one of the more reaosnably priced sets I have found on amazon at the time of writing. The only thing I can not speak to is the how strong the connectors are vs other similar cables I would need a larger sample size. Honestly though either way micro hdmi is not a particularly sturdy connector. I really do not have any complaints. Good cables and price was decent... No complaints I just reserve 5 star reviews for something that knocked my socks off or had amazing polish / features ect. And they are fairly basic cables... So they did not knock my socks off while at the same time they did not displease me so I think a 4 star is fair. I wish amazon did based off a 10 scale or 5 stars off a fractional scale. If they did I would give them a 4.5/5 or a 8/10 something like that.

This was exactly what I was needing. With my Amazon Prime subscription there are so many awesome movies and TV shows that my family and I love to watch. I knew my kindle fire hd 8.9 had HDMI capabilities but I didn't have the cord for it.After shopping around I decided to go with these because it's a 2 pack! It gives me the flexibility to leave a cable plugged into either of our TV's and then all I have to do is plug my kindle into it and we are good to go on streaming or watching the shows I've downloaded.The clarity and sounds come through just fine. . .unless I let them know... you would never know the shows were being transferred from my kindle to our TV.Highly pleased with this purchase! Would definitely buy from them again.

In May 2015, I purchased the Cable Matters® (2 Pack) High Speed Micro-HDMI (Type D) to HDMI (Type A) Cable 3D & 4K Resolution Ready with Ethernet - 6 Feet. Seemed to work fine until last month (August 2015), when I started having problems. The cable was connected but the monitor was not receiving a video signal.I did a series of tests to determine if it was possible that either the computer or the monitor was the issue. Each appeared to be working fine.The last test I did was to test a different cable (not from Cable Matters). I went to Best Buy and purchased a similar cable made by INSIGNIA. I selected this brand because that was the only brand available at Best Buy.The INSIGNIA cable worked perfectly, but to my surprise, it actually worked better than the Cable Matters cable (before it became defective). In other words, the image on my HD monitor appeared to be more clear and bright. Note: I have not touched any settings.I did contact Cable Matters support via email and they did reply to me quickly. They told me that they would not provide me with a refund as it had been a few month, but they would be happy to replace the cables for me. I explained to them that that I was able to determine that the quality of this particular cable was quite poor and I would not be inclined to replace the cable. Especially as I had already replaced it.

It is a microHDMI to HDMI connector. MicroHDMI is a poor design but tiny HDMI connector. There was a flash of them, they were inmay noteboks, then everyone decided they were too fragile. If you have one of the notebooks that used this physical interface, and it is not connecting, try rebooting, wiggling, then try software drivers update.. Then buy cable like this.. Mine worked.

I bought this cable to use with my new gopro hero4 silver camera and let me just say fantastic! Before buying this cable I purchased a cable from a popular big box retailer for $29.99, and it didnt even work, got this cable matters cord yesterday hooked up my camera to the tv and it immediatly provided a great high quality picture. Needless to say the big box store got there faulty product returned today. Probally the best part of this product is the price. You get 2 cords for a fraction of the $29.99 big box price so now i can hook up my phone or Kindle Fire to the tv too!!!

Works as it should.Sound, picture, and frame rate all looked good.Cable is a small diameter and looks to have thin shielding.Cable ends are good quality and sturdy.It came in a dirty plastic zip lock bag that said "made in China", no fancy packaging.Shipping package was good.I bought it for my Sony A7Rii camera.

This mini HDMI cable works perfectly with my Surface RT running Windows 8.1. I just plugged the cable in to my Surface and to my TV, changed the TV settings to HDMI and I could see my Surface screen. It was that easy. The cables are nice and think, and there is no video or sound distortion that I see so far with the video quality. I would happily purchase this product again.

I am generally confident when I order Cable Matters products and thes cables are no exception. The cables are flexible enough and the connectors seem to be well made. I am using these to connect a 4K camera to an HDMI switcher.

This was purchased to hook up an Asus T100 CHI to my TV as, even though I have a smart TV, no catchup app for Channel 5 is available for it. Headline is it works faultlessly.As you would expect with a cable, the packaging is minimal meaning this can be delivered straight through a letterbox - important if you are likely to be at work when it's delivered. The packaging had me concerned as it stated the cable was 6 feet long whereas it was advertised as 2m. Out came the tape measure and I can confirm it is 2m long.Initial impressions are that this is a reasonable quality product - it would easily look at home in John Lewis or Currys. The plugs come complete with dust caps which may well be thrown away but shows the manufacturer hasn't shaved every penny from their costs. The plug mouldings are a nice glossy black and include strain relief for the cable which looks effective enough. The design is modern and curved in appearance which adds to the premium look.The cable is flexible but maintains a slight stiffness, it will be flexible enough for 95% of cases, but don't expect to feed it through a small hole and then bend it at right angles straight away. The plugs have a nice positive feel when inserting, not too firm but not too loose. I can't comment on whether the Ethernet over HDMI works as I don't know if my devices support it and are either traditionally hardwired or networked wirelessly.Finally, please note that this is Micro HDMI and will not fit micro USB ports - I've seen a lot of reviews that complain it doesn't fit their phone or table. If you only have a micro USB charging slot on your device, and no other ports, this will not fit.

Does the job....this is a ok supplier. Wish they ( hdmi people) were more consistent in their claims eg high speed, handles 4k, sound handling etc etc ...manufacture details. Hard to spot a con! Bought some big name from abroad and wouldn't handle cec, but packaging look genuine. They refunded one cable...Some so limited in detail wouldn't touch them..

bought a much cheaper one off the market in my town...and the cable was flimsy and didnt work very well....remember buy cheap buy twice..this cable matters micro hdmi is a good sturdy cable which works flawlessly with my action camera to get 4k video and images on my tv...really good construction...not too thick that it cant be bent....highly recomended....

Purchased to allow my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 to transfer clean video to an external recorder (and monitor). Not much to say really, I plugged it in and it worked, no dramas and clean video on the reciever. Oh, the packaginf was nice, a heavy duty re-sealable poly bag that will be used to store the cable 99.9% of the time.

Receive cable surprisingly quality, have used it only once since getting it and at the moment I am very impressed with the picture quality and the sound all seem top quality, would say even better than the cable I was using before. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone else. Very good value for money.
