One of the best yoga books out there.
As far as I can see the best book for explaining Yoga asanas and specifically 'work in the pose' that there is. The level of depth and detail is impressive. Also, the many restorative programs targeting different ailments and conditions are very useful and other users of this book anecdotally advise that the programs make an impact in healing their conditions.

Not so good in Kindle format
The content of this book is excellent but, it has been so poorly digitised by whoever? Text is not searchable and this book just does not work on small screens whatsoever. There should be a warning that it is only suitable for large screened devices. I would say forget trying to read it on any Kindle device, phone or iPads smaller than 12.9"

Enhanced practice
I like how this book breaks down the Asanas. The technical aspect and alignment of each asana is refreshing. I use Ashtanga for my regular practice but other aspects & approaches can be beneficial to aid in one’s practice. Variations and props shouldn’t be deemed as weakness. Finding depth & space in an asana is what creates the building blocks for safety and advancement in the lifelong practice of yoga.
