TRUFF Pasta Sauce Bundle, Black Truffle Marinara and Spicy Marinara | Flavorful Pair of Regular and Spicy Tomato Sauce for Pasta, Pizza, and More | Non-GMO, Vegan, Bundle of 2

My wife and I tried the Black Truffle bundle, made up of two well-packed bottles of sauce -- one each of Pomodoro and Arrabbiata, and each was delicious! Totally scrumptious, authentic and just-right spicy when it should be, we would be very glad to use either or both of these sauces just about all the time, if we didn't think they were just a bit too expensive for everyday. The truffle flavor is there, if fairly low-key, but that's to be expected given the price (truffle oil is used instead of mushroom slices or bits, as we discovered after delivery when we examined the labels). Another factor in the expense was the bottle size, which was several ounces per bottle less than that found in most of the comparable, other better sauces available here. The difference is not enough to matter if dinner is supposed to take care of only two hungry big-eaters, but those missing ounces probably could make a difference if the dinner were meant to take care of 3 or 4 diners, particularly if the 4 were folks with hearty appetites or enjoyed lots of sauce. Still, each was VERY good, and it absolutely made our dinner for two (with leftovers) a more enjoyable and special occasion, so it was well worth it for us (as a test drive, if nothing else). Yep, they were right darned good! Of course, your mileage may vary, but what the heck, why not give 'em a try! :-)

A family favorite!

The standard is better than the spicy (red label). I didn’t find the red label to be spicy at all to be honest. It tastes good, but black label is superior. Very flavorful. I would use it all the time but the heartburn of it all. If you have to do canned sauce it’s a really good option. Worth the price for the added flavor.

The Truff pasta sauce is definitely delicious. Probably the best truffle pasta sauce I’ve ever had. Five star on taste. The problem is the price: $29.99 for two jars. That’s crazy expensive, and not justified even if the taste is amazing. I regularly buy truffle pasta sauce at a specialty gourmet shop and the top prices are no where near this price. I’ll only buy this again if the price comes down.

Not much else to say. I love it!

Not too heavy on the truffle, just right. The plain sauce was still a smidge spicy, which surprised me, but I loved. So plain is still arribata, if you get me? Spicy was more spicy, but just a little more. Like mild versus medium. It's a nice warning for cold weather. It's so good. If you dont or cant handle any heat, keep moving. If you can do medium salsa, you can do these both. Really good! Wish the price was a little less, but good for a romantic/special meal.

The flavor is "okay"... Which is sad, because we LOVE truffles... Any chance I have to try a new truffle product, I will... 2 bottles for $30 is, ACTUALLY, disgusting. Why? Because I found truffle paste, at a fraction (on, amazon $15). If you add truffle paste to your favorite pasta sauce, VOILA! You have created your own truffle sauce... I found a great truffle sauce, in the local store that tastes better and is $8. In this world where bargains are hard to find... This product isn't all it's cracked up to be.
