Works
Used this tool to remove and refit rear axle bushes on a astra H, the tool works it comes greased and is well made. I had to use the biggest size in the kit (90). You need to line up the tool correctly on both sides and use the right size, If you don't you could bend a bar.I recommend this kit, i pushed out big old axle bushes with it. When it comes to refitting I advise you use a dremel to sand the inside of the bush housing, the cleaner the surface the easier the bush will go in also use grease to aid in fitting.

Sturdy and works well.
I read a few reviews saying threads stripped under use, I haven't found this to be the case at all.I've replaced the original (fitted 2007) wishbone bushes on my van which were well stuck in there, it had no troubles at all. I made sure to well lubricate the (M14 size I used) thread and bearings of the tool before use to give it the best chance and when it got tough to get initial movement on the removal, a few encouraging taps with a lump hammer on the top of the cups whilst the tool is under tension got things moving. The threaded rods have enough length (approx. 35cm) for a large cup either side of the bushing and housing. The only pain is winding the nuts all the way down the length of the thread if you don't need the full length. The cups are of a thick, solid construction and cover all sizes in the range well.Kit is heavy to move if this would be an issue for you.Highly recommended.

Simple, well made, and when used correctly, highly performing value tool for DIY-er
I used it for replacing the rear trailing arm bushings on my Audi TT 8N, after unsuccessfully fiddling with self-made tools made out of sockets and modified hole-saws. If you take you time, grease the treads of the screw, use a hammer to tap on the puller and pusher bits, any stubborn bushing can be removed.

Great bit of kit
Made it an easy job

@ Grant McKay this is not meant for wheel bearings
There’s a separate kit for Wheel bearings in a similar plastic box with much heavier duty thread included within it hence why yours broke. The kit is also a lot cheaper than these bush removal tools.

Worked Great for 2 Axle Bushes but No Sure How Many More
Used this for installing 2 new rear axle bushes on a Mk7 Fiesta. It worked great however you could see some metal flaking from the thread of the pole portion of the kit.I went very slow and taking breaks whilst tightening to allow the thread to cool and not overheat and everything was thoroughly greased up.It worked great but not sure how many more uses it would last.If you're using it.... take your time... lubricate it thoroughly.. take more time.... and lubricate it THOROUGHLY!

Snapped spindle.
Snapped a spindle and stripped the threads on another and still never moved wheel bearing, hydraulic press then used, bearing was super tight but aren’t they all.

Heavy Duty & Durable
All the parts seem pretty high quality and durable. Used this to install some new front lower control arm bushings on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Plenty of sizes to choose from so you'd likely be covered. Recommend only using hand tools to tighten and loosen. Bearings seems heavy duty but could be vibrated apart if using power tools. This also came in handy in conjunction with the 12ton press when parts are fully removed from the car.

Small rod end washer bearing snapped on first use. The over all quality doesn't seem bad. The customer service is excellent and made it correct.

I returned this but I can share my experience and thoughts on this
So like the headline suggest, i tried using this, but then I returned it. I kind of put the the up to the bushing I was trying to press (which in my case was a trailing arm on a 90s honda), gave it a bit of action and decided not to continue because my instinct was telling me this was going to go nowhere. Because here's the reality of this tool in 2023 in Canada. It's most likely not going to work (if you're car is rusty or older, like mine was). And i want to first off say I think this tool is built well. Nothing about the construction or material suggests that its going to fail while you're doing your job. But for most canadian vehicles, you should just give up on trying to press a bushing out with this. There is just so much rust. Too much rust. In fact, i ended up ultimately taking the trailing arms off my car and brought them to a trusted shop. It took them using a shop press and about 15 minutes of torching per trailing arm to be able to get the old trailing arm bushings out. And here I was, even for a moment, thinking something like this kit would do it. Again, this isn't a knock on the kit, but the reality of older salt belt vehicles is that jobs like this get exponentially more difficult. So here's my tip on this tool. If you are DIYing out of your garage (like me) thinking of doing a bushing with this I encourage you to get under your vehicle and inspect the area where the bushing you're trying to remove is seated. If the area starting to get what looks like a cauliflower texture and looks like there could be rust deep inside the seated area or it just generally looks rusty, please just save your money, time, effort and sweat, and see if you can remove the component and take it to a shop to press out. Note I would double down on this piece of advice, if what you want to replace is a larger component such as a trailing arm bushing like in my case. If you do intend on trying to get this tool to work, I most certainly recommend a good strong torch. Not like a plumbers propane torch. Like a oxy acetylene deal that can really get the bushing seat hot. Overall i took one star off of this item because, based on what I said the design of this tool doesnt really line up with its intended use scenarios. Because if you're going to go through all that trouble for either a bushing or bearing or anything that requires this tool, you might as well have an actual press. Perhaps i lack the experience or expertise but I personally think if any job requires that much heat to accommodate this tool, its probably best to just remove whatever you're pressing off of the car, and use a much better press along with heat. Anyways, thats just my two cents on this thing and a spiel about really thinking about if your time and money are worth trying to get this tool to work. Especially if you have a salt belt vehicle.
