I bought this screen for my home office. With my desk in the middle of my room and good lines of site out my window and office door to the rest of the house, I didn't want to block my view with an unsightly large monitor sitting on my desk. For the times I need a larger screen than my laptop or iPad provides, I can grab this monitor from my closet shelf, plug it in, and be up and running on it within 30 seconds. Then it's super easy to put away when I'm done, maintaining a clean desk. Packaging was great, everything was in its place and well supported by foam. Setting up the monitor is super easy: plug in the charging USB cable to one port, run the other supplied USB cable to my iPad, and it was immediately recognized. One thing I didn't expect was that the iPad can charge from the monitor (if the monitor is independently powered). That was a nice surprise and allows for one less cord on the desk. Brightness is fantastic - I actually turned it down to about 55% because it was too bright. The internal menu system is typical for computer monitors - not great, but no different from any other type of monitor, so I can't really fault it. I haven't fiddled with all the settings yet because it looks fine out of the box (with brightness turned down) for the work I do on it. The internal speakers are OK. Not as good as the 4 speakers in my M1 iPad Pro, and I can't figure out a way to turn them off and revert the sound to the iPad when the monitor is plugged in, so that's a slight minus, but the sound is not terrible and I can live with it. The carrying case is fine, but I don't intend to bring this anywhere so I probably won't ever use it. It will NOT protect the monitor from a high drop, I don't think. But it'll keep it from getting scratched and provides some grab handles so that's fine. Overall I'm really pleased with the picture quality and ease of setup.

I needed a portable second monitor to teach classes online while traveling abroad. This monitor is very lightweight with good resolution for my needs. The size is a decent compromise between portability and functionality and it didn't break the bank. It's very convenient that the cover also serves as a stand, and it came with all the cables for various connection scenarios. I had no problem connecting it to my 2024 MacBook Air both directly and through an adaptor hub. Very good quality monitor and accessories.

I gave my adult son this monitor as one of his birthday presents and it was a huge hit!. He didn’t ask for one but I thought he would appreciate a portable second monitor to use with his laptop when working away from his home. He has two desktop monitors in his apartment, but he is job hunting and has taken over our dining room so he has more space to spread out his notes, complete applications, and participate in MSTeams interviews. As background, he is a chemical engineer and very computer savvy. From his perspective, the monitor setup was easy although some of the setup was intuitive versus being detailed in the instructions. He is pleased with the screen resolution and image quality for the purpose of basic internet, Word, Excel, and pdf display. His laptop easily recognized it as a second monitor for adjusting the screen layout/display settings. He loves using this monitor to display his notes for easy reference during his interviews. While he wishes the monitor came ready for vertical versus landscape display, he can purchase the necessary stand for vertical display later if still desired. It is a great value for a basic, light weight, easily portable, non-touchscreen monitor. Highly recommend!

I did a lot of research looking at soooo many of these portable monitors before deciding on this VisionOwl model, and I am ridiculously pleased with my decision. It was so easy to set up and connect to my Nintendo Switch via a portable switch dock I already had. Simply plug and play and it instantly loaded up. It's super crisp in game and almost as much so while browsing. I have my saturation and contrast turned up a little bit so if the vivid rich colors aren't your thing, there are easy adjustments to be made using the side wheel button, which also double functions to adjust brightness and volume, depending on if you scroll it up, down, or press it as a button. Pressing it opens the main menu, where you can adjust more complex details of the visual display to your preferences. I notice exactly zero lag or issues running any game on my Nintendo Switch that I want. I also plan to use this monitor with my iphone connected as a way to watch streams and/or videos while I play games on my PC, since I previously lacked a second monitor/run an ultrawide for my PC. I have no doubt it will perform perfectly for that as well. The visual quality is astounding for this affordable price point. The monitor maintains its place propped up on the included magnetic case/stand combo perfectly. I emailed to register my warranty with the included QR code packaged with the product, and was also offered a free accessory, which they quickly responded about and are actually sending to me! Now that's customer service! The sticker on the bottom left of the monitor gives their information in case you need to contact for any reason for any level of support. The included packaging pieces also mentioned this. All of this tells me they stand by this product immensely and I am over the moon with it so far. It's EXACTLY what I wanted/needed, small enough to fit in my limited leftover desk space while large enough to be properly useful for gaming and media consumption. I cannot recommend this enough and sincerely hope that if you're in the market for a solid, reliable monitor, either for home use or on the go, be it for gaming or media consumption of any kind, you'll consider this VisionOwl product as a top tier choice, if not number one. It's that good, and I'm picky about my gaming experiences and media consumption experiences, as I spend a LOT of time at my desk and a LOT of time gaming. In a sea of options, choose this. It's absolutely wonderful in every single way, and so is the company behind it from what I can tell.

This portable monitor’s amazing! I love the fact that it’s very convenient and easy to take on the go! It’s not heavy at all. It’s very light. It’s very easy to set up as well! It works great for gaming especially! The picture quality’s really good too! I definitely recommend this monitor!

I needed a 16 inch monitor to compliment my Lenovo thinkpad for working on projects. After spending about 3 days researching and going back and forth and finally settled on this monitor. I am so glad I did. The image quality is absolutely outstanding. I have had absolutely no issues with the controls and I am not sure why the user that reported he couldn't shut the audio off on it was having a problem because that was a non-issue for me. It worked right out of the box on both the Thunderbolt USB-C interface where I had it set at full 4K with 144 Hz refresh and it looked outstanding and required zero digging to set up. I also have it set up to work on my HDMI port where it can only do max 2K 120Hz imaging but that is not a limitation of the display but of the interface itself. The nice soft case that it comes with is a very nice addition. The stand mechanism for the monitor works perfectly and never seems like it is cheap or ready to fail. I would highly recommend this monitor and would happily purchase it again.

Great choice at a reasonable price. Came with all cables needed and a cover for the screen. Awesome for my RTO days to get me closer to my at home set up for productivity. Screen picture is very clear. My sole complaint is that even plugged in my laptop cannot power the screen so I wind up with lots of cords invading my space.

I've been very picky about finding the right match of specs so my purchase could have a versatile use-case. Eventually I found VisionOwl. The display quality is outstanding, I was hesitant with the pixel density at first but honestly 2.5k is more than enough for a 16" display. You get up to 140HZ Refresh Rate which is why I'm using it for gaming as well. One thing that was a very nice surprise was the weight of the product, it's super light weight and very easy to use. It comes with a nice sleeve, a power plug, an HDMI cable and two USB C to USB C cables so ypu don't need to buy anything extra to make this work. On Mac via a thunderbolt you just need the Type C cable whereas for example if you want to connect it to your PS5 you'll need the HDMI and Type C + power plug together. Compatible with a wide range of devices. Providing easy plug and play connectivity. Overall don't hesitate to purchase if it's within your budget range. It's something you'd use for a long time.

Super easy to set up and has a surprisingly bright and sharp image quality along with a very thing profile and is lightweight and easily transportable The display quality is excellent, with super-clear and high-quality bright visuals, and there’s no lag at all. It feels really smooth and efficient whether I’m reading, writing, or watching videos. The design is sleek and modern, and it looks great next to my laptop. I’m currently using it for my research work, and it’s made multitasking so much easier. Switching between tabs used to waste a lot of time and energy, but having this second screen has completely solved that problem.
