ThreeBond 1215 Liquid Gasket 250g Gray Silicone OE 2871557

I used this to seal a transfer case after doing some repairs. It was specified in the shop manual from the maker of my car. It's been 2 years since the repair and no leaks. I like this product because it is easy to work with. You apply a bead and then you can fully torque all the bolts immediately. With other liquid gasket products you have to torque part way, wait for it to cure, then torque the rest of the way. That might introduce variance in the position of the transfer case cover. I don't know if that would be enough to matter, but it took me a while to get the preload right and I wouldn't want it to be thrown off by a too-thick gasket. This stuff bonds well too. I tested it on some scrap blocks of aluminum and it took significant force to separate them.

Works just the rest of the other great semi sealers on the market ie yamabond5, Hondabond 3&4, kawasakibond 5, Ducati also uses this for sealing there engine blocks! Great Stuff for sealing metal to metal contact parts, even where light coating use on valve cover gaskets on motorcycles. This is "NOT Silicone" Sealant!

Used for a few Polaris rzr engine rebuilds great stuff and massive tube compared to Polaris at less price

Stoped the oil leak coming from my stator wires. Brute force 08

No leaks. Same sealant that oem uses.

Before I used the tube I squeezed out the liquid and clear that seperated until I got solid smooth gray. Worked great. This is stock sealant we use at Subaru. Put on my EJ25 Subaru block halves, so far 9,000 miles with no leaks or fluid mixing. Got enough for multiple engines planning on using it again in a month or so.
