During a recent renovation of the house that my dad built during the depression and war years, I started collecting all nails as we were pulling them from floors and walls and decided to make a little homage so that we would never forget that my dad pounded each and every nail by hand. Many of which were reused nails. This little frame is perfect and will hang in the renovated room the nails were collected from. Perfect size, really sturdy and completes vision nicely. It is exactly what I had in mind

I love this shadow box, but wish it would have came with some padding. I ended up using some old tissue paper and it looks fine I guess.

I am an artisan, I handcraft one of a kind greeting cards with a metal accent and offering my clients the choice to get it framed turns it into a unique personal gift. My cards require a lot of detailed work and this shadow boxes provide the perfect combo for display and protection. I wish they offered more choices for colors but the quality is great.

Perfect fit for my dog’s paw print mold. Feels sturdy and like the wood used was of good quality.

The frame came apart at the two sides that are stapled together. We glued the sides back together, however the front of the frame shows a line where the two sides came apart. If this was a gift, I would have sent it back. It’s for me so I can live with it. The price for this frame is too much. I’ve seen much better quality frames for less. Will not purchase again.

The frame is perfect. Quite lovely. But the bullet points said there was a black backing, and there is no backing at all other than gray cardboard under the white paper that lists the company. Most shadow boxes have some type of backing. Debating whether to return it or try to make an appropriate backing to showcase an antique Christmas ornament that belonged to my grandmother. Disappointing that it was not as described.

These are the best frames I have every bought on Amazon. They are constructed well and are a contemporary style. The sizes available suit my needs most often. I also buy them in sizes other than the shadow box for my art. I use the 10" x 10" and 12" x 12" or larger regular frames. They are packaged well and always arrive undamaged.

If you need a small, shallow shadowbox (I think it is about 0.7" deep) this is a great choice. The glass is removable. I used it for framing an insect, it is perfect for something like that.

Chipped paint/coating on two corners when delivered and back plate/cover poorly fitting.

Bought this frame to hold a butterfly. The frame was originally all white and was a bit muted/subdued. But the shadowbox wood liner comes out and is separate, so I painted that black. It is a great way to accent or change an otherwise plain frame. One suggestion for the manufacturer...Perhaps include a rigid white backerboard instead of just the grey cardboard and white logo page. It would have save me a trip to Staples for some 60LB card stock. But overall nice!

I wanted to hang a ceramic tile without dealing with glue, this worked wonders. You’ll want to add your own backing as it’s just cardboard, but I wrapped the cardboard in black material and it made a great backing to the tile in the frame.

This is the only shadow box of this dimension and worth the money. Well made, solid, and has an internal insert that keeps display upright and the right distance from glass. You can take it out, if you want. It is perfect for my needs.
