Excellent hair color that does not contain ammonia and does not leave a lingering chemical smell. Comes with a tube of conditioner - apply just enough to cover. It must be left on for three minutes before the final rinse. The small tube does last for several shampoos. Love this 2N color. I use Vaseline all around the hairline to keep the skin from staining. I purchased a reusable hair color brush and bowl set from a local beauty supply shop. It takes me about 15 minutes to mix and apply and then I leave it on no longer than 30. I have been using it every 5 weeks for two years and plan to continue. It’s a very good product.

I love this hair dye! I have been using it for years now and I had given up on boxed dyes for good. It really does keep your hair shiny and soft. I have really dry, curly hair and boxed dyes used to damage it terribly (even though my hair is brown and I only ever dye it a slightly deeper brown). I kept waiting for the point when I realized how damaging it was like other dyes..but I have never noticed any damage from using it at all. It does wash out fairly quickly though, which is fine for me because I just use it to add shine and a little bit of color. The majority might wash out within a few weeks, but it will stay fairly colored for a couple months. I only re-dye it like twice a year. Plus, it is worth it to get this deal since it is double per box in the stores I've bought it from in the past.

I have been coloring my hair for 40 years because I was prematurely gray. In the last 8 or 9 years I began coloring just my roots every 2 weeks because it grows so quickly and coloring anything other than the roots made my hair dry. Recently, something I read years ago kept sticking in my mind. When hair color was tested on lab rats, they developed cancer. Just recently, the lymph nodes in my neck kept swelling and someone my husband knows recommended Naturtint. I love the consistency because it isn't runny like another product I tried, the color was perfect and colored those stubborn gray roots. To me, it had no unpleasant smell. I love this stuff and will continue using it!! Oh, by the way.....my lymph nodes have shrunk and the oncologist said it was not a problem to keep using this product!!!

I am very satisfied with this product. It is more pricey as compared to other products but it's worth it!
