I bought these mostly because it’s 2020, and honestly everything is via zoom these days. I never really thought about it til this year. These covers are easy to put on and work well. You can slide the cover with one finger. I would suggest turning on your camera first while you apply these to ensure the full camera is covered. I really like that they come in a 6 pack. One pack covered all my computers. They come off with a little effort and I didn’t notice a sticky residue. I tried applying and removing on my computer before trying on my kids school computers. Very very happy with this purchase!!

I should've listened to the reviews. I only got these because I needed metal covers. I thought maybe the bad reviewers just got a defective unit. I knew the covers would be bad, but not THIS bad. Cover fell off as I was installing it, installed the second and the top popped off as well. There is nothing reinforcing the sliding piece, it's just metal on sticky metal. Even if you're lucky enough to get these to last for a week, they will break at some point because of the poor design.

They work! But my only concern is that the edge facing out that touches the finger-pad when closed is pretty rough. It may leave some scratches over time. They look sleek and smooth in the photo but they really are just a thin piece of aluminum or something. BUT they work. And it's such a small and simple little thing I'm not concerned enough to return.

So this was easy to install over my computers webcam. Really good since I don't like being watched. However, I am confused about part of this rating where they ask about the camera quality. Since this is not a camera, but a cover to go over the laptop camera I was uncertain how to rate it. Technically it covers the camera lens and therefore the quality just should be rated with one star. But I think they want to know about the quality of the product so I went ahead and gave it a five rating. Either way when the cover is closed the camera is unable to view you or anything for that matter. This is what the cover is for so that's a good thing. In my opinion better than a piece of time because it is easy to open and close as desired.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I just feel creeped out when on my laptop cause I know how people can hack ur camera!! It was a tiny perfect lil piece. It fit great over my camera and the slide slides very easily back and forth!! It seems to stick pretty good. No issues with it coming off but if it does after a while u get 3 so definitely worth the money!!!

When they work they are great. Compact,flat, easy to open and close. Out of the 6 I used within a month or so.. one lost the lid that slides inside the rail..that's on laptop that mostly stays open and is not moved much. The rail of that one stuck to the laptop screen with the power of forever so not sure how I will fix that without potentially ruining my screen. 2 keep sliding around the phone screens but can be put back in place by pushing without leaving any residue. 2 went to a black hole .. Can't find them though I'm stuck at home. 1 works perfectly. If I had unlimited supply of these little things..I'd give 5 stars for design.. really want to love them.. but I'm left with a "meh" feeling.

First off, I came recommended from a YouTube who as the same lap top as I do so I figured it should work. Which, in the end it does, the only flaw is when I tried to put on the first one and tried sliding it to cover the camera lense, the piece that slides just popped off. So I tried the second one and let it set for a minute and then tried it and it seems good to go.They are ultra thin so they are a bit delicate but if yo have a thin lap top as I do, it works. Hope this helps anyone!

I had a larger camera cover for my old computer. It was super easy to use. This one is small and sleek but hard to activate the slide both way. I have to use my thumbnail to get it to move. I am a little concerned about the sharpish edges around the outside - hoping it doesn't scratch my computer.After playing with the other 2 covers that came, I realized I bent the edges a little when I put on the one I used. After I bent them back and the slide works better. It is still small and need to use my finger nail to move it but it is easier to slide now.On the positive side, the cover is thin metal so looks sleek. I like the colors.
