Don't know how I missed the other reviews on this product, but as they say, it's not stainless steel and magnets will not be attracted to it. Probably aluminum.

There is no way these plates are stainless steel! They arrived dirty on one side and a white coating on the other, indicating they were cut from another item that was used for something else.The seller lied and misrepresented the item. I will be returning and purchasing from another seller. I wanted to give a zero star rating but this rating system requires at least one star in order to submit the review. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. HORRIBLE!!!!!

False, not stainless steel. Confirmed after magnet test, magnet will not stick. Most likely thick aluminum. I needed stainless steel for a specific project that requires stainless steel, this won't do much good for my purposes.

False advertisement. Says, "Stainless Steel," and in fact it is NOT. The purchase was specifically for use so it would be attracted to a magnet. The seller should advertise with accuracy and truth.
