Bentoheaven Bento Box Adult, Stackable Lunch Box, 40 oz, Steel My Heart

My husband surprisingly likes this and it has held up for the past like 10 months just fine. He uses it twice a week when he goes to his office to work and it A) holds enough food B) has never leaked and C) has a pretty good seal so his chips, etc doesn’t get stale if I pack it the night before. The only sign of wear and tear is that the brand name printed on the top lid has pretty much rubbed off which we’re not mad about lol. The divider is a nice touch, too. I wouldn’t pack straight up soup in it but we have definitely put wet items in (like pasta salad) and there was no spillage in the village. There have been times when I wish it was just SLIGHTLY deeper so that I could fit a sauce container (from a different brand) into it but that’s my own gripe. The product is great.

I picked this up because twice now I’ve had a hinge snap on the lid of my previous bento boxes, and I wanted something without that point of failure. This is a great bento for the price, especially since it can go in the dishwasher! Most of the traditional boxes require hand washing, but this one does not. I’ve seen folks saying it’s small, but portion size across two containers is more than enough for an adult lunch. For reference, the bottle in the picnic table photo is 32oz, not a 16.9oz regular water bottle. It holds A LOT if you pack with care. I wouldn’t pack soup in it, but I’ve had no issues with saucy things. Silicone muffin cups fit inside it no problem if you need additional separation for foods. Lids still close just fine. The lids are inset, so you can’t pack foods that are taller than the boxes, but as long as everything fits neatly inside it, you’re good to go. There is room in the carry bag for a thin cold pack if you want to add extra chill to your box. The utensils are small, but functional. I’ve had no difficulty using them. Also love that this one comes with a set of chopsticks. The strap is just a piece of elastic that goes around both boxes, and all you have to do is slide it on. It’s a snug fit, but I recommend putting it in the carry bag for additional security anyway. I’ve had no problems putting it in my backpack and carrying it this way. Great box, easy to transport, no leak issues for me. I’m super happy with this.

I love everything about my Bento Box. Portion control being a key factor. Having the ability to make the food look very appealing and compartmentalizing the various food elements is an extremely pleasing and mindful eating experience. It allows me to pause and engage several of my senses while enjoying healthy and delicious food. This act decreases my stress level and for 30 minutes or one hour I am totally engaged in nurturing my body and replenishing my spirit. The insulated bag that I purchased as a bundle with my beautiful Bento Box however, raises my blood pressure. If I attempt to close it as shown in the video, the stupid zipper will never close. The zipper gets caught and doesn’t want to move. I am afraid that if I force it, It will break. Today was the first day I used it since I received it Saturday. I went to Amazon and ordered two different carrying bags for my Bento Box. I don’t have an extra 30 or 40 minutes in the morning to coerce a zipper into compliance. I just want to throw my lunch in a bag and go. The size is great, the top is either poorly designed or I got a defective bag/zipper. I will purchase other Bento Boxes in different colors. I like to prep meals for two or three day. Multiple Bento Boxes are ideal for this purpose.

Solid and smart construction - everything you need in a compact package. It looks nice and is easy to open and put together with a basic understanding on how to use the seal. It has plenty of space to fit a nutritious meal that keeps you full until dinner time. Some reviews stated that there wasn't enough space, but I can fit a whole ribeye steak, sweet potato mash with protein rice, and a good sauce. So, I dont understand how there could be reviews like that out there. Bless their hearts. Its really easy to clean too. All in all, good buy.

High quality item. Really feels sturdy and well made. I've used it three days in a row, microwaving a variety of foods, and it still looks and works great. No warping or melting. Cleans up nicely and looks just like new. Would recommend. Thinking about buying a second one for meal planning. The seals are really good. Even with liquids and oily foods, it doesn't leak at all. Size is great even for a fairly big appetite. And the little divider is perfect for separating a couple of small portions. Also, it's nice to have two separate containers with their own lids, so you can have one cold portion and one hot portion. The fork and spoon are great, but the chopsticks feel a little short for larger hands. I like the way it all fits together in an elegant package, but I keep disposable chopsticks at my desk to use.

Okay so first I have to say that this is a really small container. As you can see from the picture it is about the length and width of my hand and the height is just over half of my hand. It is a decent case but I would definitely not call it the highest quality at all. First I will state the good things about it which are that it comes with utensils which seem to be sturdy enough made out of plastic. The second thing would be that it does close well and I like that it looks very elegant. Now for the cons. As I already stated it is Very small. Also it took me a couple of tries to figure out how to get the top off and I thought that if I had put food in here it would be impossible to get it off without spilling. I finally figured out that you don't open it by the tabs on the sides but there is one corner that lip is over just slightly and that's where you're supposed to pull it up. I can't imagine you would be able to fit more than the equivalent of a sandwich in one part and a very small salad or some fruit in another. Also the separator that comes with it does not sit in the container tightly at all it slips around. I am going to try to correct this by gluing a small piece of foam to either end of the separator to hold it more firmly in place or see what else I can do. This is a good container for a very small lunch or a snack but that's about it. All together I'm not sure that I would recommend this for an adult. Maybe for a kid for their school lunch it might be adequate depending on how much they eat. For that reason I couldn't give it more than three stars. It's not enough of a hassle for me to return it since I can use it to put if not my lunch, other than a light lunch on a day when I may not be that hungry, than maybe some snacks at least. Definitely would not purchase this again but I won't go to the trouble of returning it either.

I really love mine. I bought 2 to make logistics easier with meal prep/washing... I was concerned the compartments would be too small, but they're actually perfect since I'm trying to control my portions. I was able to fit 6 air fryer chicken wings in one compartment; I just had to cut it at the joints to make it fit properly. I love that its microwavable, although I headed something up on high heat and the sides warped a bit. Not a huge deal, the lid still fits securely. But I heat everything on power level 6 now to avoid it getting worse. I also love how compact it is! I hate big bulky lunch boxes. I get lots of compliments and questions about it when I'm at work too!

Easy to clean and travel with, overall it's a solid, compact lunchbox/Bento set. I love that it comes with a fork, spoon, knife and chopsticks that can be stored within the Bento itself, it would be easy to store napkins and other small things in. Nice divider and mini/sauce container as well. I definitely recommend it. It heats up food fairly well, just remember to lift the steam seal.

Box sizes are good portion sizes, black tubs are swappable (lids are not). Microwave-safe as promised. Design stylish and satisfying. Beautiful strap to hold it all together. Separator not liquid-proof. Sauce container a little hard to open. Cutlery in lid not held in place.
