I've been using this product to undercoat my big trucks my dump trucks and my dump trailers and my equipment trailers this is the most impressive rust inhibitor you would ever want to use easy to apply and really does a good job this will keep your frame from rotting out for sure it's been around a long time and has proven itself

Fluid film is a great product. super easy to apply if you have a car lift, undercoating gun and a little ambition. If you have any over spray, it wipes right off with a cloth, No staining. If you live on gravel, or dusty road, you're in luck! Once some dust adheres to this stuff, it helps create a firmer, longer lasting bond to the frame. And yes, it will creep into every crack and crevice, preventing any further rusting. Over time, you will have to reapply this stuff in areas hit hardest by water, snow, etc. Avoid using "Undercarriage wash" option at the car wash, as it will remove this stuff.

This stuff is perfect. I used it for my 2018 ram 3500 and barely used 1/3 of a bucket. Ready for winter salt now.

Undercoating our old family van was not on my bingo card this year, but road salt here is brutal and my husband kept complaining about the rust starting around the wheel wells. We grabbed this big 5 gallon bucket so he could spray the frame and underbody before winter. The stuff goes on thick and clingy and actually stays put after a few slushy drives, which made me feel better about hauling kids to school and hockey practice.Downside, it’s super messy. It drips for a while and the smell in tge garage lingered longer than i liked. Definitely wear junk clothes and plan on cardboard everywhere. But once it cured up a bit, the van looked better underneath and i feel a little less guilty about all those salty parking lots.

I love this product! It works wonders on rust, although you may need to remove heavy buildup with an air needler/chisel before applying. I laid down painter's plastic to catch overspray, and the application process was smooth. Excited to see how long it lasts now!

used airless sprayer and it went great.2000psi got it good and thick your muffler will smoke for a bit if you get in on there. will not work as good with heavy build up you may have to use a air needler/chisel to get the flacks off before you spray. used painters plastic on ground to catch overspray every ting worked well getting it on now just to wait to see how long it will stay good.A++ great coverage 2 1/2 to 3 gallons will cover a whole chevy 1500 nice and thick hope this helps others.

Excellent quality product. Delivered quick. Bucket sealed tight with extra tape seal to front door. Product applies exactly the same as the original tan color fluid film, same consistency and has the same rust protection properties -- natural lanolin but tinted jet dark black. Color looks good on underbody as well as on rockerpanels, fenders particularly if you have a black vehicle -- slight overspray on door and fender edges that are esp susceptible to rusting blends perfectly with paint. 5 Gallon bucket sold by ShopEddies half the cost compared to 1 gallon pails of original color fluid film in auto stores.

Product goes on well and does not drip. Excellent coverage and jet black colour.

Really like the product. The shipper sent a 5 gallon pail inside a carboard box with no cushioning inside. The pail had been banged a few times in transit and popped the lid loose allowing a decent amount of the product to leak. Other than the mistake of not putting something to fill the extra space in the box and stop the pail from moving around I am very pleased with the product itself.

Shipped quick and arrived undamaged...Works great to stop rust in salty winter areas...its thick and seems to stay on well,does not drip at all...It creeps into all areas and protects, the black color is great too..The smell is not great though, but goes away after awhile...I'll use it every year to keep my vehicle from rusting
