First, one of the inserts came broken.But the biggest issue is that the water level indicators don't fit properly in the pots - they wobble around and as a result the water level changes. Next time I buy self watering pots I'll be getting better quality ones!

3 out of the 4 were good, one on the inserts was snapped where the water leveller goes. It was packaged really well and wrapped really well so this wasn't broken in transit, looks like it was already snapped before it was even packaged.I've returned them all and was going to order again but read the reviews first and it seems a lot of people are receiving them damaged so I've not ordered again. It's a shame as they are a lovely size and reasonably priced for 4 of them but if they can't check the product before shipping that's on them and postage took a couple of weeks. Very frustrating.

The straws for the water level are twisted. They get stuck, so the water level is wrong. Plus the whole cylinder is too long, so it does no sit in the hole properly, it sticks out. Very poorly made. Will return them.

I bought these to help reduce the amount of guesswork to do for watering. When I leave for trips I top these self-watering pots and I don't have to worry about my plants drying out while I'm gone. They look like more expensive brands and my plant friends know exactly what they are and their purpose when they see them for the first time. When my plants grow out of their old plastic containers, I move them into the new pots and the plants adapt and thrive.

Bought these for some Venus Flytrap plants since they need to stay moist all the time. These worked very well for this. They are plastic but hold these small plants very well. Will buy more when the newest batch of carnivorous plants get bigger.
