UPDATE 2/2/2019 Well my son dropped it and the top of the cup itself at school, and the part that seals with the lid, it cracked upon impact...broke, unusable. That part was not made of steel. It was plastic. My son and I were both a bit sad, because it was so cute and worked so well, but accidents happen. I would not buy another one, only because it only lasted a couple of weeks and I paid $20 for it. I do, however, recommend this product, but just don't drop it with the lid off. ORIGINAL REVIEW-Super cute. Bought the red one for my 9 year old son, for Christmas. I like it so far. Feels solid and durable. I'll update my review, after Christmas, once he uses it. Not only is the penguin water bottle adorable, but it keeps ice water cold for a LONG time. Like surprisingly long. The seal is nice and tight, and it’s quite stable. But be conscious of the size- the little bottle is somewhat smaller than the average plastic water bottle, total. And then there’s the insulation. So it’s capacity isn’t MASSIVE. But honestly, it’s so cute I don’t mind refilling it often.

Very cute! It is small. Maybe would fit a "tall" starbucks coffee. It also had a strong factory odor when I received it. Had to let it air out then wash it really well to get rid of the smell.

*update. There's a decorative cap piece on the bottom for the feet. Was surprised at how quickly this came off. It does go back on and is not necessary for functionality. However it is somewhat frustrating to have it come off. Such a cute product. It even has a softer texture. So far I love almost everything about it. (It would be nice if the lid we're attached to the bottle so my son wouldn't lose it).

Have kept this adorable penguin thermos for years and continue to use it periodically. It has held up well in the dishwasher and to grubby little hands

I've been waiting for an excuse to buy this damn thing and my daughter starting school this year was it! It's perfect size for her, not so much an adult because it's only like 10 oz. So far I've used it for egg nog and tomato soup and since it's vacuum insulated I don't have to worry about it being refrigerated.

If you like penguins thats a bottle for you. looks really cute and well designed but keep in mind its a small bottle thats all

Unless I read the description wrong, I cannot see how this thermos can be for anyone but a child of, say, 7 or 8. The cap must be screwed off, rendering the product useless for a toddler. The box is replete with product information, which might be helpful if the "seeker after truth" speaks Chinese. Cute penguin. Slip-free material on the outside. Do NOT recommend this product for a child who cannot unscrew a lid and drink from the bottle. I can't say "I hate it," but I am sufficiently disappointed not to like it either.
