Great product I use this for both what it is meant to be for one scoop in the morning for recovery and two scoops at night to relax my body for an easy doze off no odor. The taste is quite interesting and I seem to like it does not taste like medicine. I would say this product is clean and odorless. This is something you can use even if you don’t work out.

Dr recommended this to help my sleep issues. She recc’ed a trio of supplements but this was the only one that was new to me (the other two are inositol and Magnesium glycinate). In combination with all the other things I’m doing towards better sleep during this new phase in life (peri-menopause??)—this has helped. But its true value to me is that it makes my matcha taste so good. I love coffee but bc of an increase in UTI’s and other reasons—I’ve bn needing to find an alternative to my morning beverage. Mushroom coffee, tea, tried so many—but nothing as satisfying. I’ve never liked matcha but I knew i could “train” my tongue if it was for all its health benefits (PCOS,etc). This glycine mixed w my matcha makes it my favorite part of my morning now!! We havent added sugar to any of our drinks for over a decade—so we can “save” that sugar and calories for something more worthy, lol. But this glycine gives just the slightest sweetness and makes the matcha not just palatable but delightful. It mixes so easily in hot beverages, helps me feel better overall. My skin looking better might be a placebo effect, but as part of a holistic approach to better sleep and health—I’ve been loving this glycine powder.

I've purchased this BulkSupplements Glycine multiple times. Every previous bag had the normal, slightly sweet odor that I expected from glycine. My most recent bag had a distinct fish odor, even after pouring the powder out of the package. What disappointed me most was the customer service. I contacted both the online chat and phone support and received the exact same scripted response that "a change in supplier may alter the smell, taste, texture, or color." No one actually addressed my concern. To make matters more confusing, the Certificate of Analysis they provided for my lot specifically lists the product as "odorless." Yet the product I received clearly was not. Rather than explaining that discrepancy or investigating the issue, they simply repeated the generic supplier explanation. I can't say whether the product is unsafe, but I can say the quality was noticeably different from previous purchases, and customer service offered no meaningful explanation. Buyers should compare the odor of each new lot to previous purchases. If your glycine has a strong fish smell despite the COA stating it is odorless, don't just accept the canned response, ask for a real explanation.

I've used this product in the past and I have tried the glycine from other suppliers and Bulk Supplements is the best. I will continue to purchase from them. This glycine is great. Dissolves nicely and has a mild sweet taste. I put in my nightly cup of tea.
