Caffeine free tea with a boatload of benefits, practically good for almost any health condition except advanced liver damage!
Technically an herb and not a tea, it stands up to a full boil when brewing and is said to produce ten times the antioxidants as green tea, long considered one of the best teas for health in the US. Here are a couple links that help support some of the claims: [...], [...]. Note that the webmd a website which quickly disses pseudo research and questionable claims of supplements and such, has some support for teas. It does not go into depth on Rooibos, but a quick search will uncover hundreds more sites like the second link, that go into detail of the health benefits. On Amazon, try if you will to find another site for a tea or supplement that has over 1000 votes, and only one percent give the product the lowest rating. This is for the bagged tea that I use, in the same brand the loose tea has over 100 votes, but it has zero of the lowest ratings and very few of the second lowest. That means something to me, it says that for almost all the people that use this they feel tangible benefits from the herb. I do as well, as strange as it may seem a heart doctor who did a heart cath on me, because of a false positive test said I had no blockage and would not need to see him again for five years. He did say I should get some more exercise, but he noted that although my good cholesterol was low, my bad was too low at 45, and he'd like to see it higher around 70. How many of you have ever been told to raise your bad cholesterol, by a Cardiologist no less? I've been drinking Rooibos tea for a few years now and I have to think this has an effect. I also think I sleep better and tend to have better digestion when I drink it regularly. Taste is good too I like it with a touch of honey, but it drinks well plain, either iced or hot. One of the worst things about Rooibos is the full boil brewing, you need to add water or ice to cool it down or it takes 10 minutes to cool enough to be able to drink it. It does make a good iced tea and goes with lemon, lime, milk (not all together), honey, ginger, orange, cherry, or any number of flavorings. I don't recommend artificial sweeteners, most are bad for your health, and there is the danger of degradation when you brew this at a full boil. If you have to use them wait till the tea cools down a bit before adding. Cane sugar is OK in moderation. Recommended for almost everyone, but one of the few cautions I've ever seen on this fantastic caffeine free tea (herb), is that it may not be the best for those with advanced liver disease. If you are a heavy drinker and have been for years, and are showing the signs of liver damage, you might want to ask your doctor before you indulge in drinking this herb.

Rooibos Rocks Tea, it Is Great!!
This tea is wonderful. It has a smooth full body taste, nice aroma and is not bitter. It could be a coffee substitute if you so desire. It has a lot of health benefits with is the main reason I ordered it. Great value for a quality tea. Thank you, I am very happy.

ROOIBOS ROCKS!!!!
I like to drink cold, lightly sweetened tea, but want to stay away from caffeine on a regular basis, so I tend to buy herbal teas and make iced tea with those. I was introduced to rooibos (red) tea through another popular company's herbal tea offerings, and it was love at first sip! Over the years, I've had more and more trouble finding rooibos locally. After a multi-month spell without any rooibos, I began searching at other grocery stores, considering other brands, scouring the shelves for the magical words "red tea" or "rooibos tea." When I would find a rooibos tea, I would eagerly place it in the cart and enjoy it over the course of the next couple of months, but when it came time to replenish my rooibos supply, that particular example could no longer be found. Finally, after being particularly disappointed by my most recent rooibos find (the most expensive and least rooibos-like of any yet), I decided to search on Amazon. I checked out different reviews, and one particular review that rated a number of different rooibos teas available on Amazon ranked this tea near the top of the list. After noting several other reviews that praised the quality of the tea, and the freshness-preserving packaging, I decided to take the plunge. THIS IS THE BEST TEA EVER!!!! The flavor tickles just about every taste bud as the tea flows down your tongue. The sweet, tasty liquid glides down your gullet, inviting you to take another swallow. You get into an argument with yourself because part of you wants to sip the tea slowly, swishing it around, coating every tastebud, savoring every moment with this magical flavor; while another part of you revels in the river of smoothness, delighting in the feeling of the reddish-golden liquid flowing down your gullet, encouraging you to take another gulp, and another, and another...until you finally lower your empty glass and come up for air, gasping as you reach for the pitcher to refill your cup, eager to dive into another draught. I will definitely be ordering this tea again!

Love it but packaging can be better!
I love that I can try rooibos tea from Africa for a very good price. Tea quality is excellent. It has a naturally smooth, calming flavor that instantly helps me relax. The only downside was the delivery experience. It took longer than expected, and the box arrived completely ripped. Thankfully, the tea was sealed in a plastic wrap, so nothing was damaged, but I do wish the packaging had been more secure. Despite the delay and packaging issue, I’m glad I waited—this tea is definitely worth it!

Best Rooibos tea...
Oddly enough, I became obsessed with getting red bush tea after reading Alexander McCall Smith's series, The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, in which the main characters, Mma Ramotswe and Mma Mukutsi drink it by the gallon, it seems! Set in Botswana, the series is awesome! When my sister traveled to Botswana, of course all I wanted her to bring back was red bush tea! Mma Ramotswe says that all the world's problems could be resolved over cups of red bush tea. I agree! After a long, stressful day at work, a steaming cup of rooibos makes the world go away for a time and it helps me sleep so well. It has huge health benefits, as it packed with oxidants and best of all, no caffeine. I was blessed, since my first cup of rooibos tea was the real stuff, so I now can tell the difference. I have tried many kinds only to be disappointed, too may times, so I stopped looking for and buying it. A few weeks ago, I happen to be looking at macha tea when I came upon Rooibos Rocks. The name alone made me nervous! But after reading the reviews, I decided to try it, one more time. Oh my! I have my real red bush tea again and I am so grateful to Rooibos Rocks for bringing me and those who love this tea, a most excellent an authentic tea. Here's to the ladies; Dumela Mma Ramotswe and Mma Makutsi!
