They close tight at the end for grip

Tools is very flimsy. Because of the length they don't stay firm on whatever they grab. They do not work as prescribed.

Very nice tools. Quite well made. This is a very useful combo. Definitely will recommend to others.last time i purchased This brand' s angle champ which worked perfect, now i found they also had locking pliers。The adjustable design is very useful.

For a pair of "vise-grip" pliers, these are OK. They lock in place (when adjusted properly) to maintain their hold without your having to keep squeezing. The larger of the two has a nice 2-position adjustment that gives it a wider range of openings.Ergonomically, the larger tool feels good and works well, but the smaller one subjectively feels lightweight and cheap.Of course they are made in China, so if you like the quality of tools that are typically sold at Harbor Freight, you'll be fine with these.

The title says Vice Grip and they are made by some other company. Seen pretty flimsy and don't grip all that good.Came wrapped in plastic wrap as if when you order them the guy grabs them from a big box full of tools and throws them in a box and puts them in the mail. They almost look like used tools. If you work with professional tool you wont want these
