Love this exhaust fan!Looks amazing in our newly remodeled bathroom, works efficiently and is so quiet!!

This fan is great. I really like the design - it looks much more expensive than it is. Also, it is quiet and does a good job of evacuating air. I have them in multiple bathrooms in my house. I bought this one as a replacement for the 12 year old one in my master bath that has started to be noisy. I bought a "used" one from Amazon that said the packaging was damaged. The box looks a little ragged but the fan inside is in perfect condition.

Exact replacement fit for rusted old Hunter Ellipse Bath fan which is difficult or impossible to find. Expensive, but less costly than hiring a contractor to rip out the old fan and install a new one.

Pros - beautifully crafted and elegant look that matches our other brushed nickel fixtures.Separate nightlight feature is nice.Frosted glass is cool.The exhaust fan is fairly quiet...we have ours hooked up to a double switch with the light/exhaust fan coming on together and the nightlight separate...you could have a triple switch and have them all independent but that's additional wiring.Cons - Install is borderline difficult. You MUST use A15 size bulbs or the cover will not go on and you will curse the light as well as scratch it all up trying to get it on. I would recommend the 60 watt bulbs(which are the highest wattage in that small size bulb I could find) as the frosted cover does dampen down the light output. I am hoping the tarnishing problem others have had will not be an issue for us because removing and replacing in our bathroom will be a royal pain.

I like the non plastic type fans and this one is cute and works. The hunter logo is not very pronounced so I don't care about it. It looks great, is not too loud, and is a pretty good fan.This model has a night light in it. I suspect the cost of the wire alone makes this option quite a luxury, so I skipped that

Not really a Hunter fan. Hunter sold the bathroom fixture division along with use of their name to a foreign (Chinese) company. This is NOT a Hunter quality product. Make sure to check the base plate after a year's use. I discovered that mine was rusting. I contacted Hunter and was informed of the prior information and was told how to get a hold of the current company. The current company then told me that some of the base plates had mistakenly not been coated and after multiple calls was finally shipped a replacement. This is a nice fan. This is not a Hunter. I felt cheated and will make sure to do my due diligence before I blindly trust a name again.

This is an excellent bathroom exhaust fan. This is my second purchase of this fan, not because the first one broke, but because the brushed nickel outer face was badly rusted. I bought a new one to replace the rusted brushed nickel face. The fan still works as it did on day 1, 10 years ago. Pretty quiet. Not ultra quiet, but not annoyingly loud. Now I have an extra fan in case my original conks out considering the age and it is super easy to change that out too. Unplug, the electrical connection, two screws and it lifts right out. As for the rust problem, I purchased a couple spray cans of clear flexseal and coated all metal parts twice. This will take some of the luster out of the metal, but should take care of the rust problem and doesn’t look horrible, but the metal won’t shine.

I purchased this approximately 8 years ago, I like its retro look and it’s very unique in comparison to other fans. Eight years later I had to purchase the same fan again. Here’s the reason why.I am giving it one star, as I had to buy a whole fan to replace a broken motor. I tried contacting Hunter’s customer support. I knew exactly the part number, all I required was a customer service representative that could instigate a purchase of the part.Their customer support is Façade/Sham. It is really answering service that are nice and polite but powerless. They cannot do anything but say you will receive and email from Hunter fans. The email, will contain a support number that directs you back to the same group. Hence you have gone in a complete circle. The support people will promise to pass your name and number on to Hunter fans, yet I never got any call back.I stress the importance getting good support for the lifetime of this kind of purchase. The fan’s box has to be built into your ceiling. It would be very costly and require ripping apart your ceiling; if you have to go with another vendor.The inside tends to rust very fast. We put this fan light in a dark spot in our ensuite bathroom. It’s perfect for the spot and the fan is very quiet 👍👍

Complete junk and HUNTER has ZERO warranty if purchased in Canada! Less than 3 months fan motor sounds like a sardine can full of gravel. I spent 2 days conversing with company & Amazon both totally useless. I have been told directly from the horses mouth, "NO WARRANTY IF PURCHASED IN CANADA". We have had numerous orders with Amazon.ca but that will come to a halt and only out of desperation. Amazon has become too large and with the current virus situation, they love taking advantage of their customers. Had this model been available locally would have went that route. For those living in the U.S. $110 at Menards. We paid $240 Cdn and nowarranty. You have been warned loyal Amazon customers!
