Behringer X Air XR12 12-Input Digital Mixer for iPad/Android Tablets with Wi-Fi and USB Recorder

This is an excellent little mixer. I bought this after a sound job where I had to mix the sound from essentially behind the stage. It uses the same apps and has the same features in general as the bigger ones do and for $250. it is a steal! It is my learning mixer to go on to the bigger ones next year. There are a couple on not perfects here though. First is the wifi connection is not good for use in congested areas as my iPad and Macbook keep getting logged off intermittently. The solution is to either hard wire it to the computer that controls it or to use a router that is powerful to get above the other signals out there. When I used the router it was fine!The second thing is that it has only 4 XLR connectors on it. It really should have 12 of the combo connectors that are used for the first 4. To be able to use more than 4 mics you have to get XLR-1/4 adapter cables. That makes it harder to use and kind of inconvenient. Despite it's failings I am happy with it!

Difficult to set up on a Windows computer but it works great once it's set up. There's decent customer service and support online.

This is perfect! It’s just what I need, simple, quick setup, small! Perfect!!! Not too “techy” either, very simple, runs fast even on old iPad mini, just perfect, did I mention it’s perfect! It has changed my life, I feel I’m a better person with this mixer. It completes me! I would marry it, if it was legal
