Got for my toy poodle for grooming. But it was extremely small

We needed something for when he's at the groomer getting his nails done, because he recently decided to get bitey (senior dogs, sigh) and in afraid they'll fire us as clients if we don't come with a muzzle next time. We had tried a different one that had a plasticky type cage over the mouth, but quickly realized he paws at it and was getting his nails stuck. So we knew we needed something smooth he can't do that with. This was exactly what we were looking for, and you can't beat the price point. It fits his snout perfectly, not too tight and not loose. The plastic part that you use to adjust the length is very loose, so we had to put several heavy duty staples to hold it at the sizing we wanted, but once we did that we're golden. Now I don't have to worry he's going to bite. His fit is 20lb small mixed breed (schnauzer/terrier).

A dollar store item at best. Talk about overcharging! Shameful. Almost $10 for a piece of junk! The first negative was that while trying to adjust the strap to fit my dog it just pulled right out and the plastic piece fell to the ground. Strap is NOT long enough for sure and should be attached to the plastic “ring”. The fabric is ultra cheap and junky looking. When I finally got it on my fur baby she literally pushed it off her snout with her paw in less than TEN SECONDS! She’s a rescue and very reactive to other dogs and male humans. I go out of my way keep her away from anyone walking their dog anywhere near us but her last walk of the evening can sometimes be a problem because it’s more difficult to see people in the dark until they’re too close. My ten pound Chilier thought it was a smart idea to yank off her collar to try to lunge after a 75 pound dog the other night. The first thing I always do is pick her up IMMEDIATELY when I see anyone coming but I didn’t see this dog until he was too close to us. This is why I went right home, jumped on here and tried to find something immediately. From now on I will never walk her without a thick harness (never just a collar/leash) and will have to go back to the drawing board to try to find another muzzle to help our situation. DO NOT WASTE your $$$$ on this cheap piece of junk!!!! Can’t speak of anything else (cleaning, drinkability) since we will never get that far. I only wanted this for walks after dark as I really don’t like the idea of using a muzzle.

Works well when your dog is exposed to loud sounds

Cheap and thin. Doesn't stop my dog from barking which defeats the purpose of me purchasing the muzzle. I cannot speak on anything else since I am already turned off by the fact it doesn't stop my dog from barking.

Perfect size for med min pin weighs about 23 lbs.

This was for a shih tzu: the muzzle was a good fit; however, the straps were too short, even after removing the clip and then super-gluing it to the strap for extra length.
