Wirefy Crimping Die for Solar Connectors - 14-10 AWG

Work perfectly to crimp my MC4 connectors . I’ve done al least 20 crimps and dies work just as new

Worked great on my compatible crimper for the couple of solar ends I've done so far. I will probably be doing more over the summer.

I liked every thing about this product.

I used their crimper and die for making custom cables for my solar install. Worked great. I save a lot of money over buying generic length cables and have to deal with managing the excess wire length.

Incredibly well made. Very precise. Strong. Accurate. However, I was VERY disappointed that it did not come with inserts for MC4 connectors!!!!! I had to buy them separately. That is the only reason I gave it 4-stars rather than 5-stars. Extremely well made. Have made several MC4 cables so far and it's SO much easier using this crimp tool. Worth the investment just for that, but I also welcome faster, stronger, more reliable crimps on all small electrical connectors. Very glad I bought it.

Just what I was looking for to crimp MC-4 connectors. High quality forging. Perfect fit for Wirefy crimp frame.

The only problem is the dies come out a little too easy, other than that they are awesome.

I tried to crimp mc4 conectors with standard crimpers. I thought I had a bad pannel. Decided to try a new connector and used this to do the crimp. Excellent results

Ottima pinza, arrivata in tempi brevi , valigetta e matrici ben imballate. Fatto alcune prove su faston e connettori per fotovoltaico (mc4) e con un po di attenzione la crimpatura è perfetta. Su youtube si trovano video che aiutano a posizione il connettore nella pinza per avere una buona crimpatura.

Die Einsätze (1 Paar) passen sehr gut in die Wirefy Crimpzange für wechselbare Einsätze. Mit einem leichten „Klick“ rasten die Einsätze in der Zange ein, wobei oben und unten offensichtlich frei wählbar ist. Dazu hätte ich gerne einen Hinweis auf der Verpackung gehabt. Somit ist die Zange auch gut für Linkshänder geeignet. Das Crimpen von MC4-Steckern mit diesen Einsätzen gelingt gleich mit dem ersten Versuch. Durch die Ratsche kann man zur Not auch nochmal nachfassen, um dann ggf. mit „voller“ Kraft die Zange zusammen zu drücken, bis der Endpunkt erreicht ist. Anschließend kann die Zange wieder geöffnet werden. Der Stecker hängt dann zwar an dem Einsatz mit den runden Vertiefungen, kann daraus aber mit leichtem Druck entnommen werden. Für eine Aussage zur Haltbarkeit kann ich auf Grund der geringen Zahl von Anwendungen noch nichts sagen. Zumindest hat sich bisher aber nichts verzogen noch ist etwas abgebrochen.
