Not for 6s plus
I have to be honest, I wasn't as impressed by this product as some of the other reviewers. Sure, it's cool to have an adjustable mini tripod for my phone, but for my iPhone 6s Plus, it just doesn't hold up... Literally, it can't hold it up. The piece that tightens the incredibly flexible positioning apparatus is as tight as I can do it without fear of breaking it, and as soon as I touch my phone ( to look at the photo, choose a filter, etc) it moves. The same happens when I try to maneuver the legs (which are incredibly sturdy, almost to a fault). The next issue is with connecting the phone to the tripod. The piece that fits (just barely) on the phone screws into the small, round base--actually it just screws onto a small plastic piece that comes out of the leg junction. The round base has a grip around the side of it, which made me think that was the part that screwed into the phone holder... But it didn't. It's basically a gear that just screws on with a tiny (and useless) base. Also in my gentle attempt to screw the phone onto the tripod, the threading strips a thin layer of plastic... every time. So I'm not sure how long that's going to last.Lastly, the insanely sturdy legs. Yes, sturdy is a good thing, but stiff is not. I'm not sure if there's a solution for this other than more flexibility in the legs but with heavier feet(??). I understand the idea is to wrap them around a pole (like the photo!), and they need to be sturdy to stay in position. But it's extremely difficult to wrap them-- and with the phone attached, it just means the incredibly flexible positioning ball moves (as stated above) and you basically have to start over.I'm not saying it's junk, it seems to be fairly decent materials and construction. But it's not really useable for my iPhone 6s Plus.So far the remote shutter seems to work, and that was one of the main reasons I bought it in the first place. So. That is all.

You'd have to be watch and make sure your phone doesn't slip out. If you have a bigger phone (mine's Samsung S7 Edge), the phone will constantly slip out of the holder. The spring clamps down fine, but it doesn't have "claw" to hold the phone so the phone slips from the top and the holder snaps. When you take pictures, you're constantly repositioning the device and the phone will easily fall off.I have since bought another stand. This is going to the donation center.

Great inexpensive gadget
It's great. There aren't any instructions on how to put it together but it's self explanatory. The legs in the tripod are adjustable and you can bend them. It doesn't say anything about it being with compatible with the new iOS 10 update but it is. All you have to do is connect it via Bluetooth and with the remote you can take pictures as well as record videos! Super handy I would recommend for the price!

which is fine I guess because it still works that way
In their answers they stated you can record with the app. First off, the app through the Google Play Store doesn't work at all, so you have to just use your regular Bluetooth setup, which is fine I guess because it still works that way. Second, the only way to record is if you hold the button down, and even though it is as a burst shot, it doesn't actually record like a regular video. There is no way for this to record. I will not be ordering from this seller again.

easy to adjust
Very flexible legs, easy to adjust, holds my iPhone 6 plus very securely. The included remote attaches via Bluetooth and takes a photo from afar. Very good design. The bracket to hold my iPhone 6 plus is retractable and holds my iPhone 6 plus firmly. Highly recommend.

It just feels and seems to be the cheapest possible tripod. It will work but I would never trust it. But it was cheap, so I guess thats a thing. I guess I knew what to expect.

Not for bigger phones
This is really useful for recording my workout videos, but the spring in the part that holds your phone broke off pretty quickly. The phone part probably only is really meant for a smaller iPhone (5 or earlier). My MotoX won't fit in it, and when I put my friend's iPhone 6 in it, that's when the spring broke off.

Absolutely love this. I use this to shoot video emails to my clients. The app for the remote is worthless, but you don't need it. Sync it with your phone's Bluetooth like you would anything else and it works great.
