So far so good
Easy to assembly, started right up after assembly, gas and oil added- does not come with oil, but no biggy, I prefer to put the best oil in my mowers regardless. Has ran fine for the first several cuts - will continue to update. Feels kinda cheap, however it is a steel frame and the motor is mounted to a steel base as well. My old push mower broke where the frame and motor meet, which was plastic on my old model. Hoping this will hold up for several seasons.

Metal frame snapped in half
Please read:Bought this one year ago and have used it weekly for a mowing season, about 7.5 months. I just changed the oil today and got it running perfectly, and first pass on my first mow of the season, I notice the handles feel really low. I mean a couple inches above my knees, low. The aluminum handles themselves snapped in half. There is nothing I can do to fix this, this is immediately the end of this Yardmax’s life, and that is very frustrating, because I came to this exact product on Amazon a year ago, read all the reviews, and then purchased. The metal frame itself snapped in half…Things to note, I’m on just over a quarter acre of land, with many objects to mow around (pool, deck, shed, plants, rock bed, etc.). I also keep my mower in a fully enclosed cement shed to keep it out of the elements. I say this because I have taken care of this thing very well and do not have a ton of yard to mow.I push on the handles to lift the two front wheels up so I can turn the mower after each pass, that is it. I CANNOT believe that this happens under the “duress” of its own weight. You would think this is something Yardmax would test. Nothing has ever been put on top the mower, period, let alone while trying to lift it.I hope Yardmax sees this and attempts to right their wrong. I will not be buying a Yardmax ever again

Works as expected
It's pretty decent. Haven't owned a push mower in a long time. Cuts well, plenty of power. Used 2x, the first time my grass was pretty high. It knocked it down fine on highest setting. Went back over it 3 days later and that time it did great, everything was even and looked freshly mowed (lowered to 1/2 way). Handles seem a bit flimsy, time will tell. For now, it's 4 stars. Beefier handles would make it 5 stars.

Acceptable mower
Appears to be well made and comes with complete instructions on care and maintenance, all to the good. The weight is good, especially as I have areas where it's difficult to mow and I have to manhandle the mower a bit. The motor seems to perform well, with the exception that it is inordinately hard to restart if you have to stop it for even a minute or so. It should just restart immediately, but I had to reprime and pull and pull the starter cord multiple times. That shouldn't have to happen with the motor stopped for only a minute or two. It is advertised as a side discharge or mulching mower, which I liked, but the discharge chute, when fitted, is easily knocked off when you even lightly brush against something, and if that happens you have to stop the mower and then have the restart problem. The blade isn't particularly sharp and doesn't give the sense that you are cutting well, but on completion it looks fine, so I'm OK with it I guess. It's not a perfect mower and could be better but I'm reasonably satisfied and will continue to mow with it.

Good mower
Been raining so haven't had a chance to run it but it looks like a good mower and it comes nearly completely assembled unlike the last mower I bought from Walmart that took an hour to plug together. All I had to assemble on this was the grab bar and add oil (which doesn't come with the mower but not a big deal). Also this is largest cc mower for the price that I've found.
