I have been using hot packs for many years and I used to sell a different brand when I owned a day spa. The one I sold was very scented and took a while to calm down so it wasn't too strong. This hot pack is unscented, which I actually love! We use it for my little chihuahua and so having no smell is good. I would think in many cases you may want an unscented hot pack, especially if you are sensitive to smell, as they can be extremely strong.This is a great size and folds in half nicely to fit in the microwave. You could use it in so many areas, neck, back, for cramps, really anywhere and the fabric is good for staying in place.I have seen the many reviews stating it burned in the microwave and I am telling you it is user error! If the fabric/hot pack touches the side of the microwave, even slightly it can cause it to burn. You always want to make sure you have it in the center and not able to touch the sides. You also want to be sure, for the first couple of time you heat it up that you do it in small increments! Start with 30 second time and then put it back in for another 30 seconds, etc. until you reach the desired heat. Once it is established you will be able to do one time and get the heat you want. I am finding with this one 1 minute and 45 seconds is a nice heat. It is also a moist heat but not overly wet.The quality is really nice, the velvet material also helps that when heated it doesn't feel overly moist.And the removable cover...the greatest detail! I love that you can take it off to wash it! I had so many things happen to other hot packs I have had that didn't have that feature and I literally had to throw them away because I couldn't wash them. So this is a great feature!Don't be scared by the other reviews saying it caught on fire...just be mindful of how you place it in the microwave and how long you put it in for.

Love this heat pad. Used it at my parents place and immediately had one shipped to my home. Weighted just right, heating material doesn’t fall to one side like a lot of these, and has the little piece that goes up your neck adding just the right height to the pad to catch those stiff neck muscles as well. Simply pop it in the microwave and it’s ready.

It works find. Wish it came with a strap to hold the pouch to the body.

I love this heating pad. It smell good and stays warm for awhile. I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and the electric heating pads didn’t do anything. This one does. I feel my muscles relaxing and it helps with my pain. The moist heat is great. I only wish there were some more beads. There are a lot but they sometimes settle in pockets so I’ll push them around to evenly distribute them.

I love the size, the way it shapes around your neck and the heating capacity. It’s perfect for the pain I have in my shoulders and my neck.

First of all it came very quickly after ordering. Very nice quality, so soothing after heating in the microwave, it took the soreness away from my neck!

I love this so much! I don't know why it doesn't have a straight 5 star rating, rather than a 4 1/2. I'm 67 years old and I use it a lot. I love how soft it is, how it doesn't lose it's shape when you pick it up, how snuggly it fits around my neck and shoulders. I don't know what more I could ask for.
