Q: How many millimeters thick is it?

It appears to be about .4 or .5mm thick or about 3/16". It's standard military grade P-cord. I use it for many things while camping and it's never failed me. Good luck!

The paracord we bought was 8mm.

Q: What size fid should I buy for this cord?

What's a fid? This cord is the same size as 550. The only noticeable difference is is it's much stiffer.

Q: Does this have fire line in it?

No, no fire cord. It has a couple more strands of nylon to make it 750lb
