What would I need to thin these paints out to use it in my airbrush?

I've been modeling for years, and then some. I come from the day when all hobby paints were enamel or lacquer based. We would go to the hardware store and buy a gallon of paint thinner for $1.95 and that would solve all our thinning problems for airbrushing. Todays hobby acrylics are much more temperamental. Use the airbrush thinner manufactured for the paint. (That way you can blame the mfg. if it goes wrong. They might provide a solution.) With todays hobby acrylics, wash the target before painting. Use primer, same brand is not so important. Allowing it to dry and cure before painting is. Vallejo is a quality brand in this industry.

Are these good for figures.... metal and plastic also what are the colors

Yes they are. I've painted Reaper Bones straight with them. However, pewter and other glossy plastics would need to be primed first. Can these be used on model cars

If you will be airbrushing them get Vallejo Model Air line of paints. These are made more for painting figures/painting with brushes, but will work fine on model cars as well.
