i applied it for 1 day then i removed it, maybe it will work with water I've never tried yet honestly, but absolutely that is not an everyday use case , it meant to be water resistance maybe, device speakers fully blocked all the way, screen protector has a very very bad quality made of plastic very thin and flexible unclear 100% it won't handle a hit , silent button doesn't work properly you need to press and try to move it sometimes it work but you gonna have to use AssistiveTouch to mute instead, case is very hard from inside which may cause little scratches to the back and to the aluminum frame, it should have been rubber from inside to be soft on the devicefinally i ordered another one and unfortunately i wasted my money on this.gave 2 stars for the waterproof, and time of delivery are not badwill not return as the case look exactly same as the picture and i didn't notice negatives till i used ithope this helps
