What are the ingredients? What does the glucose come from?

The TRUEplus glucose gel contains water, dextrose, glycerin, maltodextrin, xanthan gum, citric acid, natural and artificial fruit punch flavor, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, acesulfame potassium, and FC&C Red #40. The Dextrose is a naturally occurring sugar that comes from corn.

If I smoosh them in the bottom of my backpack with weight on them, will they pop open and leak?

I've not carried mine in a backpack but I have carried the in my purse and they take quite a beating and have not leaked. I do try to put them to the side so nothing is put on top of them but they slide down sometimes and, as I said, I've never had one leak.
