Not too good for beginners, try a thinner yarn (like a 3). 4 is thick or just right for novice hands to knit. The waviness of this yarn is able to make whatever you are knitting feel fairly thick. I am knitting a scarf with a purple colored wavy yarn and it barely moves about.

Absolutely love this yarn! Made a cardigan with it,it took 4 skins. Homespun yarn it's a little hard to crochet with the outcome is gorgeous it is so soft and warm. The color is beautiful! Went out and bought more colors. I love working with this yarn.

Wrong Color /Mislabeled
This must be mislabeled yarn the color is NOT what is shown. What I've been shipped 2x is totally gray; there's no variation at all, which is what is shown in the picture (blues and white).
