Probably the best cat carrier of all time.
We bought one of those little bubble window hard plastic backpack carriers for our cat years ago and it got used to take her to the vet and that's it. Total pain to transport with the weird shape and you couldn't store the thing anywhere thanks to the structure of it.We had a trip coming up and decided we needed a new way to carry both of our cats and purchased two of these. Absolutely outstanding quality. Love how it's completely collapsible to the point you could store it in a drawer or the corner of your closet, but we honestly barely collapse it at all because the cats love to jump in and live in it for a while with the back pulled out.You really can't ask much more for a cat carrier than the cat to be delighted to be in it. The mesh is strong and has stood up to a little bit of biting and scratching, but generally we have tried to be sure the cats don't do that, anyway. The straps are comfortable when carrying the cats around. With the expandable back collapsed, it works great sitting sideways as a more traditional carrier, as well. Sits up nicely in the car on roadtrips and acts as a very nice safe space compartment to ride in. The fact that it doubles as a little living space while at your destination is a huge bonus. Well worth every penny! If there had been some way that it could expand even more or that you could connect two of them to be able to get a small litter box into it and have an even larger enclosure, it would be literally perfect.

Great way to haul your small animals around, even on a plane!
I bought two of these so my daughter could fly 4 kittens across the country, from Seattle to New York, to their forever homes. I am absolutely amazed by how well made these are for the price. They are simply a fantastic value! The packs are pretty rigid and sturdy. The window is a big feature that the kittens seemed to like (though they would prefer to be out and about!). The straps work well and adjust nicely to different sized people. The materials look great and well assembled. I was able to haul all 4 kittens to and from the vet, drive them around town to get them used to being on the go and then they ultimately were able to travel across the country by plane with not problems! They fit well onto the plane and had no problems with the airlines. If you want to take your cat or kittens around town, this is probably the best way to do it! Much more portable than a carry case since you can just put them right on your back and keep your hands free.

Great Quality Pet Carriers with Some Size Considerations for traveling on airplanes
I purchased 2 of these pet carriers for my Yorkies—one weighs 8-9 pounds (with surprisingly long legs for a Yorkie!) and the other is a petite 5 pounds. Here’s my detailed experience with both sizes:At first, I ordered 2 large bags, but the large size was too cramped for my taller Yorkie (I measured him at 16” standing but the bag was too short). His head would hit the top of the bag, and he had to bend his neck awkwardly even when the sizes said 17.4”H. I exchanged that one for the extra-large size, which fit him much better. However, the extra-large bag is quite huge on me so made it difficult to carry on my back, i’m a petite person (5 feet tall). It was prefect for my taller partner (6 feet tall), so we made it work. The large bag, on the other hand, was the perfect size for me to carry and prefect fit smaller 5-pound Yorkie. The extra large bag can fit both dogs but it was a little snug.We used these bags for our recent flight with Alaska Airlines, with upgraded premium economy seats to ensure our pups and us had extra room leg room. Here’s what we learned:Extra-Large Bag: Challenging to fit this under the seat. We had to push the narrow top in first and really squeeze it into place. Thankfully, the flight attendant didn’t mind the bag sticking out.Large Bag: This slid under the seat perfectly (also top in first), with no issues.Negative: Comfort-wise, the extra-large bag has a padding on the back bottom area that protects your lower back and buttocks, which made it more comfortable to carry. However, the large bag doesn’t have this padding, and the hard edges on the bottom could hit into your back and buttocks while walking and if you’re carrying it for a long time, it caused a little discomfort. The included mats in both bags are quite hard, but we brought along tiny blankets for added comfort during travel.Pro-tip for traveling, doesn’t hurt to ask the gate agents if you can pre-board, It’ll require extra time without feeling rush; since you need to adjust the dog and bag to lay downward. Luckily on both of our flights, the Alaska Airlines agents were very empathetic and accommodating.Overall, these carriers are well-made, loved the lock features on all the zippers for extra security, and very durable, but the sizing and comfort features are worth considering based on your travel needs. I’d highly recommend them, especially if you make a few adjustments for your fur babies’ comfort!

Great Quality Product
The media could not be loaded. @ozzythetravelcat on TikTok needed a travel backpack to join his rescue mom & dad on a trip to the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park. This backpack worked perfectly. The stitching is secure. The straps are comfortable and easily adjustable. Nothing broke on our week long trip. I purchased a foldable litter box that fit perfectly in the pop out section. I could close up the pop out with the portable litter box and never know it was there. Held my large water bottle perfectly. Ozzy was comfortable and had plenting of breathing air. In the summer it could get very hot inside even with the vents(just a heads up to be safe) over all this allowed us to have a safe and secure time traveling!

Good durability, breathability, and space for cats
I used this pet carrier for my cat, who had previously clawed/chewed a hole in another cat carrier. The mesh on this backpack is a lot more durable and has withstood my cat's escape attempts in the last few months. For road trips, I use the extended form to provide more space for my cat to lie in. It seems to make her more comfortable, so I'm confident that its safe in terms of breathability and temperature. The backpack/smaller form is also solid and isn't too heavy to carry around. It can be slightly annoying getting everything zipped, but it still does a good job for quick transportation.
