Worked great strong magnet phone never fell off even on bumpy roads.

So I have had this for about 6 months now. It’s a great product. In the winter time the adhesive is great. The summer time under extreme heat. (It’s been over 100 degrees with the heat index the past few days) The adhesive is starting to lose its integrity. Not really sure what I can do to replace it or just put some glue on it and hopefully it will stick again. If not I’m going to have to order a new one. I’ll contact the manufacturer next week to see if there is a warranty on it. Also I was Involved in an traffic crash a few months ago. I was t-boned and the only good thing out of that outcome was that my phone didn’t go away where!!! Haha I was wiped around pretty good and the phone stayed put.

I've had this in my truck (08' F350 King Ranch 4x4) for a few months now and there are a few things about it that I like vs. the Nato magnetic mount that's in my wifes car. The footprint that actually sticks to the dash is not too large, I was able to find a spot for it on the center stack of my F350 that was within reach and visible. This is on-par with the Nato mount- they are almost identical in footprint. The one thing I was skeptical about when I first got it was the size of both the magnet and the magnetic surface that attaches to my phone case- but it's a non-issue, it grabs my phone and hasn't fallen off once. I'm not doing hard off-roading my truck but it's stuck on there well enough that I've stopped thinking about it. My wifes Nato mount again seems solid as well which brings us to the last thing. Both mounts are "ball mounts"- there's a ball on the phone side of the mount that swivels in a cup with a ring that you tighten when you've found the position you like. The Scosche mount can be tightened finger tight and the mount stays exactly where you put it, the Nato mount, even with extra torque on the ring will move after a while and begin to sag/ wiggle. So as far as stability while driving goes the Scosche mount is good- I was up north a week ago on dirt roads and it did well- it flexes a bit when it gets bumpy but a lot less than you'd expect. My wifes Nato mount will begin to move around and loosen up a bit and the phone will sag and flop around- not good. All in all I'm satisfied with the Scosche mount- high quality, easy to mount, solid performance.

Phone applied to: iPhone 6s Phone case: Otterbox Defender Vehicle: Ferd F-250 STX Upon trying to find the best place to stick the metal plate, I ended up adhering the plate between the rubber outer cover and the plastic case. Mount was applied on 13 Oct, and 5 days later, I'm pleased with the results. The plate ended up in it's current resting place because with it directly against the phone, the distance the case creates between the plate and magnet was just enough where the phone would not stick to the magnet without slipping. Only time will tell how long the base 3M adhesive sticker will last in Texas. I also purchased the replacement plate kit as a just-in-case. Cons Phone only held by magnetism. (If you think you'll be traversing rough terrain, involved in striking or being struck by another object, or possibly be rolled over, I don't suggest a magnet mount. Maybe consider a mount that physically grips your mobile device.) Pros Few moving pieces, hopefully means less fatigue, and longer durability. Collar allows the arm to be locked in place. Base doesn't require a 100% flat surface to mount on. Low profile, unobtrusive. I likeded it so much, I purchased the 2 pack.

I ordered these for every vehicle we own. It's just so much easier to not have to find some cubby to stash my phone in and the hands free use it fantastic. It's so much easier to use the maps when my phone is one this holder.

I had the classic magic mount and loved it. I bought one for everyone in my family. I had mine on my dash for almost 4 years. It suddenly fell off and I needed it replaced immediately. Now there is a pro, I couldn't tell the difference besides price. It claims to have stronger magnets and sometimes without my case (it has a metal ring that helps it hold) it falls off easily. So I got the pro. The followed all the instructions as I have used this item in all my cars. I did it in the evening, held it for 3 minutes cause my dash has a slight curve. I let it sit for 24 hours. A few minutes into my ride, my car and the magic mount went flying. My car floor was dirty so the adhesive got dirty and wouldn't stick anymore. I contacted the seller and they quickly sent me another one. Again, I read the instructions to ensure I didn't miss anything, installed it. Let the mount sit for the whole weekend. I noticed that just a small section of the bent edge was not touching on the first one, so this time I was adamant to not allow any space of no contact, but still it fell. Comparing it to the one I had before, the adhesive pad/leg is bigger. The adhesive was so strong that even when it was falling off the half that was still on was hard to rip off and I thought it would take a layer of my dash board. I guess they don't make them like that anymore. The magnets don't matter if it isn't going to stick. The old ones were better. I'm going to return this one and go back to the original.

The magnet is very strong and so is the mount to the car however the mount arm swivel struggles to hold the weight of my phone up.

Was very easy to stick on dashboard just make sure the dashboard is clean

Tiens très bien mon gros Google Pixel même en hors route. Seul l'adhésif de la plaquette de métal n'a pas tenu. Un morceau de gorilla tape a règle le problème

This is my 4th time buying this magnetic mount, over many years. It's very sunny in Singapore and suction cup mounts would fall off eventually. Scosche's strong magnets and their grippy surfaces keeps the phones in place very well. However as most dash boards are a little curved and has some rough texture, the provided tape doesn't stick very well. I'd alway replace the tape with my own 3M dash mount foam tape.
